Noise Enthusiast and Lofreq are thrilled to announce “The Clamps” (FR)

The Clamps (real name Julien Carbou) is a French music producer, DJ and label owner living in Toulouse, France. Influenced by bands and artists such as Crosby, Still, Nash and Young, Iron Maiden, Bad Brains, Raised Fist, FKY, Noisia, he is known for his energetic music, as a Drum & bass and Hardcore producer releasing his music on labels like Trendkill Records, Kosenprod, Karnage Records or Heresy. He’s a part of the Drum and Bass duo Burr Oak with Opsen (Nicolas Levy) and he’s one half of IDM project called Third Colony (aswell co-owner of the label Third Colony Music).

His musical production is classified as Neurofunk, influenced by Industrial Music. Having won the Noisia & Black Sun Empire “Hideous” remix competion in 2014, he released several tracks on major Drum & Bass labels as Blackout Music NL, Trendkill Records and Eatbrain , multiple times played on BBC Radio 1, which gave it an international reputation et let him play in music festival as Let it Roll or Defqon.1 Festival.

ZERO1

Zero1 is a drum and bass DJ who grew up in London. After going to his first jungle rave back in 98, solidifying his love for the music, he eventually bought some turntables. After a few years of honing his craft, his skills caught the attention of DJ Flight who played his mix on her ‘Breakin New Talent’ segment on BBC 1xtra.

In 2010 he moved to Melbourne and got deeply involved in the drum and bass scene, building his rep on the underground warehouse party circuit. Since then he has ran a radio show on Kiss FM called The LoFreq Show, played at countless gigs and has supported a long list of international artists over the years such as Benny L, Mampi Swift, Danny Byrd, Friction, Cern, Dom & Roland, Philth, Breakage, Crossy, Djinn, Klute, S.P.Y, Billain... the list goes on. He has also gone on to play at several festivals including the legendary Esoteric Festival.

His sound is inspired by the many raves he attended earlier in his drum and bass journey fusing the old with the new.

SPIRAL ZED

‘Spiral DJ’ from Sydney began mixing beats while she was a dance choreographer/performer. Her strong background in the dance world led her to the stage. Her strong passion for the faster, energetic beats led her to the turntable. The mixing led her to the Production Studio.
Spiral has played at many events, radio-shows and clubs around Australia and with all her events & production experience, she also creates and promotes her own events.
Spiral Zed continues to express her passion for heavy, banging music and creates an energetic vibe in the crowd. You can hear her making a regular appearance at dance party events around Australia including the weekly event she manages, ‘Drum’n’bass Mondays’, of the monthly event ‘DnB Thursdays’. She is also the Founder of event brand ‘Heavy DnB’ and the Heavy DJ Collective.
Spiral Zed’s music consists of heavy bass and rhythmic funk ranging from high-energy beats or deep, dark, and filthy soundscapes of intricate sound-design. Check out her releases on all online music platforms.

BACTERIAL BLEND

Bacterial Blend is a DJ and Producer hailing from Fondi, Italy. He embarked on his journey into the world of drum and bass in 2013, achieving a significant milestone by clinching victory in an Underground Area competition. This triumph propelled him onto major stages, notably the International Drum’n’Bass Meeting in Bologna in 2014.Since then, he has continued to grace audiences in Rome and various cities across Italy.

Having earned the opportunity to share the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Spor, Phace Spy, Concord Dawn, Sinister Souls, Zombie Cats, Aphrodite, Gest, Benny L, Serum, Marcus Intalex, and IHR, amongst many others, Bacterial Blend has solidified his presence in the global drum and bass scene. Presently, he resides in Naarm (Melbourne, AU), where he has seamlessly integrated into the local music community, becoming a familiar figure in the drum and bass circuit.

Bacterial Blend’s performances have been showcased at Naarm events hosted by Twisted Audio, Delight Records, MASSIVE, Stylus Dnb, Headroom at RUBIX Warehouse Melbourne, Ohmega DNB, and Noise Enthusiast, as well as at Liquid Resonance, Afterlife Drum & Bass, Traction, Various Control, Indonesia’s Bali dub Club, Italia Soundgate, Monster DNB, and the International DNB Meeting (Underground Area). Additionally, his talents have featured at festivals including Good Space Festival and WA’s Rain Dance Festival.

Meltdown began his drum and bass journey in 1999, playing local house parties in Christchurch. His passion quickly led him to Melbourne, where he made his mark in the scene with sets at iconic venues like Roxanne’s and Brown Alley, supporting top acts like Black Sun Empire, Prolix, Klute, Nymfo, Lenzman, Blockhe4d, Neonlight, Aeph, DJ Fresh, Trei, Optiv & BTK, London Electricity, Icicle, Ant TC1, Phace, Phesta, Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith, B Complex, Chris Su, Dom & Roland, Dillinja and Rene Lavice. Since 2010, he’s been the driving force behind The Rewind Show on Kiss FM, earning his reputation as one of Melbourne’s most respected DJs.
