I had originally had the bright idea to make GF/DF Double Chocolate cookies BUT then I realized that the white chocolate that I have on hand actually contains milk solids so consider yourselves warned.

These beauties are cooling and they will be all packaged up by the end of the day. They can be yours for just $20/doz. ;)

So,, these double chocolate cookies are incredible.
Theyre chewy but they hold their shape. Theyre rather large, especially as GF baked goods go. But lets just have a quick chat about the break down of the actual COST of making 48 Gluten Free Double Chocolate Cookies.

butter = $7
GF Flour = $7
4 eggs = $2
White Chocolate Chips = $15
Sugar = $2
Cocoa = $1
Rest of pantry staples ~ $1.50

Ao it costs $35.50 to make 48 cookies...
At this point even the Muggle version isn't that much cheaper.

And then there's packaging.
Another $4 / order for packaging so that's up to another $32/48 cookies.

Now I'm into nearly $70 in supplies.
And 2 hours of my time at $30/hr because I won't work for less...
So 48 cookies should cost $130.

Would you pay $32.50 for 12 GF cookies!?

Fun fact about me:
I have celiac disease.
I was diagnosed a year ago and I've been experimenting in the kitchen ever since. I can confidently say that I can convert ALMOST any recipe to GF (I still haven't mastered bread but I will, I promise!)
I might even go so far as to say there are a few things that I even prefer GF over "regular".
This banana bread for instance. 😉
It's so good, it's bananas!! 🍌🍌🍌
