Carefully curating her sets, GirlLondon’s huge love for Progressive and Melodic soundscapes, ‘sophisticated beats with exotic tribal samples, haunting melodies, hypnotising vocals, rolling baselines and a driving groove’, help her create journeys of epic proportions. With her distinctive sound across multiple genres and an understanding of time and place, you can always expect fire from this lady!

SOBHAN IS BACK AT MELODIES THIS FRIDAY

From a young age, Sobhan was introduced to an array of multicultural sounds. Starting his musical journey as a drummer and Daf player, Sobhan joined Iranian traditional folk bands. His interest in music further motived him to pursue DJing when he was 18. In 2011, Sobhan migrated to Australia and not longer after he won the Habitat DJ competition in Perth in 2012. His interest in and exposure to world music and electronic music led him to start music production with a focus on ethic and fusion sounds. His second release Reverie had the supports of the like of Black Coffee. Currently, residing in Perth, Western Australia, Sobhan and his friends are running an event brand (Solouk) which showcases electronic music with a touch of organic, tribal, and ethnic undertones.

So Tired by name but not by nature! She brings an explosion of bright colours, banging funk and bass to every set she plays. She 100% knows how to throw down a groove. Her infectious energy and sensational tune selection is sure to keep everyone dancing and vibing no matter the time of day or night. Kicking off her career in 2018, she's played for the likes of Habitat, Concept, Dystopia, Geisha Bar, Blazing Swan camps such as God Says No, Treetops and Funkazba, as well as playing on the main stage at Blossom Festival. She’s passionate about vibrant colours and all spectrums of house and techno.
