He just became an Airline Captain! 👏

At 26-years old, Justin Mutawassim just became an Airline Captain at Delta Air Lines. His fascination with aviation began when he went on his first flight from New York City to Orlando at 5 years old. The pilots let Justin check out the flight deck and he fell in love with airplanes ever since.

He started working as a ramp agent for Delta Air Lines and eventually found his mentor Ivor Martin, an Alaska Airlines captain. His mentor helped him reach his dreams of finally becoming a pilot.

Justin writes: “Don’t give up on those dreams. No matter how old you are, you can always try.”

This story is powerful because you never know who can inspire you on your journey.

PS: This is an old picture from last year when he was a FO, this year he got promoted to Captain.
