I love dead flowers too.

I love that flowers die because it means they lived.

At the beginning, a flower bud begins to bloom, it’s fragile and vulnerable to its environment around.

Day by day, the tiny bud gains strength and on its own time it fully opens revealing each of its unique and special little petals.

The bloom has flourished and now gets to just be. By just being a flower, it feeds the bees and brings love and comfort to our souls.

Peacefully & without resistance the bloom begins to wilt, it’s petals becoming more delicate to the elements that surround and it’s stem begins to weaken. The flower beautifully & slowly withers away day by day, leaving behind a world that is forever changed just because it bloomed.

So you see, you and I aren’t so different than the flower after all.
