Throwing only 2 big club nights a year as SPLOT always means a premium line-up, special preparations, and genuine wish for your participation.
This time is no different. This Friday at Ciało we’ll be hosting an artist whom I consider a certain member in my „pantheon” of favorite, particularly inspiring artists: Barler 🔝
Visionary, unique production techniques, indeed — in recent years, he has been known primarily for his majestic live-acts. . . but for our event, we’re bringing in Barker to showcase the boundless possibilities of his DJ repertoire.
It was none other than him who was responsible for the most monumental intro to a techno set I’ve ever heard — February 2020, Klubnacht at Berghain, and the closing of what was undoubtedly the best party of my life. Combine that with the unconventional bass-heavy selections from some of his podcasts, and you’ll understand that a properly tangled edition of SPLOT is on its way.
I don’t prepare for any sets as carefully as I do for my SPLOT sets, so hopefully you’ll want to experience my warm-up. Atmospheric, organic slow-burner, building tension before the rest of the artists take the stage.
