We’ve spoken about pre wedding festivities, the rehearsal dinner and, of course, the morning of the wedding.... now let’s talk about the post wedding necessities.
Couples have started to steer away from leaving for their honeymoon the night of the wedding. They’ve postponed leaving to a few days later, a couple weeks later, or sometimes even months to a year. Because of this it now opens the door to having a post wedding day with close friends & family.
Sometimes guests travel overseas to be there on your big day so entertaining them doesn’t end immediately after the “I do’s”.
A post-wedding get together is a great way to extend the celebrations and spend extra time with your guests before they head home. Luckily, the etiquette for a post-wedding brunch/lunch (which is also referred to as a farewell brunch/lunch) is a bit more relaxed than the actual wedding itself.
A simple, but still elegant, spread of easy to eat items, a delicious bbq buffet, gourmet sandwich varieties, a large brunch setup, or a full grazing table are all great options. It will just be a comfortable afternoon where you reminisce about the best & worst points of the day before with the people you love most! To be honest, most of these people will be hungover anyways💁🏽♀️

These were some breakfast bites for this mornings early, team-building meeting with a group of realtors & mortgage brokers. We then went back to serve them a delicious lunch spread. Im guessing the meeting ended shortly after that though …… since itis hit them and all 🫠🫠

We make sure the bridesmaids & groomsmen are fed for their busy day; as well as any other friends or family members the bride/groom invites prior to the days festivities. 💍💍
We take care of your entire morning… an early food delivery just for the immediate wedding party, the grand setup of brunch (or lunch) items for everyone to enjoy, coffee/bar service, any staff needed and, of course, the bus platters (trays of a few items to keep in the limo for the wedding party to munch on throughout all the hustle & bustle)
It may not seem like a priority but it definitely is a necessity to kick off the big day.
Our staff sets it up and typically will have it all cleaned up before you even get back from the church. You wouldn’t even remember it was all set up there before you left!

Another option is to have a spread after the church & before the reception. Setting up a delicious lunch for some family and friends to enjoy inbetween it all is a great way to keep everyone close by & fed before the real party starts! It is definitely needed if you have alot of guests that are travelling far to be there. And once again, it can all be set up before you even get back!
