Neotropolis 2023 is in the books and Kaiju Nightclub has taken another step forward. We added a lobby and had great tenant factions. We hosted the Clash at the Kaiju and Aggressive Top Fighting League events. We had a great selection of DJs and a knock out performance by a Molotov Mollie.
Thank you for our build crew - for getting there early and spending days getting the club ready.
Thank you to our crew of bartenders, floor managers, door folx and pop-up ramen cooks.
Thank you to all the DJs and performers that brought life to the evenings.
Thank you to the stalwart few that stayed behind to finish tear down. A thankless but essential job.

Are you wanting to go to Neotropolis, but didn't get a ticket? The Kaiju Nightclub Build Team has an offer for your! Two of our early crew had life and had to cancel at the last minute, so we've got two tickets available for hard workers that are available Saturday the 22nd-Monday (Tuesday preferred). Even if you are available Sat/Sun but can't be out Mon/Tue, feel free to reach out.
Saturday is our key build day as we need to pull all our scaffolding out of our Cal City storage unit and get it out to site so we can start the structure build.
If you have some free time and don't need a ticket, we'll still take your help for build :-)

We're also looking for friends to help out with a few door, floor and bar shifts during the event. If you want to participate, please reach out and we'd be happy to have you.
UPDATE: DJ applications are now closed. We've had a great set of folx apply and we're working on the schedule!
We're working on our DJ schedule in the coming week and then will start the process of running it by our DJs. We'll also expect DJs to kick in bios, photos and supporting materials for our brochure and DJ positers!

Looking for a faction spot for this year's Neo? Consider a module in the Kaiju lobby. You will be part of the entertainment district and night life, but located before reaching our DJs and the Wall of Sound. We have a few module sizes possible from 5x5 to 10x10.

Greetings gentle beings! I would like to thank everyone that came to the Kaiju Night Club to experience our offerings! I would also like to thank the Calamity Captain's Lounge and Sakura Falling Factions for bringing fantastic energy and builds to Kaiju. Thank you to each and every member of our crew that helped design, build, setup, run and teardown the club.
We would also like to thank the Molotov Mollies, Beyblade Competition, Guns Guns Guns Competition and Major Foster's Story Time for making use of the venue!
Finally, what is a dance club without music? An empty space. Thank you to our talented core of DJs that gave of their time to make Kaiju a success beyond any of our expectations.

Omega11xx is a binary systems operator specializing in Psy-trance; arrangements of rhythms and layered melodies created by high tempo riffs. His sets have been known to unlock the mind and ensnare the senses. He will take you on a journey.

Jherik0 breaks the boundaries of genre and plays everything from Ambient to Witch House.

DJ Ventilator
Ventilator (previously known as BoomBot) was known in SF Bay Area for techno sets, but he also played industrial sets for Dead Crows. Mostly known to Wasteland crowd for playing Polkapocalypse and NucYule parties. Not accepting synth wave as cyberpunk music, he will be playing sci-fi themed techno, trance and possibly some futuristic industrial at Neo.

DJ Pythagolix
Pythagorean cultist disciple of Bowie. Pythagolix’s main focus is composing and playing in bands. As a Neo DJ, he’ll be playing 80s and Dark Wave.
You may have seen him at Wasteland doing Croweoke, Polkapocalypse and Strings of the Apocalypse. Or maybe playing bass at NucYule.

Starting work on lights and sound
For Neo, we'll reskin our bar as a cargo container and add a more sci-fi/cyberpunk edge lit bar top.
Our tap system will have a new modern tower, and the bar will be recessed into a 10x10 area instead of the current 5x10. We're also ditching the red lighting and going to a more sci-fi look.
