This long weekend snuck up on me!

Anyone else’s schedule feel like the opposite of the ‘regular’ schedule?
I’ve worked as a market vendor, an early-morning baker, an event caterer, all of which are during the time which the majority of people are off work (for obvious reasons, and that’s what makes these jobs work: people shopping, partying, weekend-ing).

So looking forward to the Bobcaygeon Farmers’ Market reopening this Saturday! What a lovely market to wander.
And fun fact! Their logo was my first logo design before I went to uni. Ah, yesteryear.

Sweetest gift to grandparents in retirement home!

✨Here’s the story: I was contacted by a woman who requested a gift certificate for picnic boxes to be delivered to her grandparents at their retirement residence. The grandparents contact me to choose their order dates and a special picnic box is delivered to them, prepaid.
I wanted to share this gift idea. Maybe someone in your life would love a ‘picnic box subscription’ and would delight in a date night in the comfort of their own home.

Sicilian Castelvetrano olives were new to me about five years ago. I didn’t grow up with olives in the house so when I tasted olives it would have been cheapos on pizza or something. Not a pallet pleaser. I now seek out these tasty green nibbles and delight when they are crunchy and fresh.
Ah, learning and relearning and training your tasters.
