We had a fantastic time attending Wray Village Scarecrows
It was great to see so many excellent scarecrows, and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. Loved watching Samba Espirito they had so much energy and rhythm, loved every minute.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who make this event happen.

Although the scarecrow cafe, village shop and most vendors will take card we recommend bringing a little cash to avoid disappointment should you need it!

We’re all volunteers and cannot be relied on to remember to plug in the card reader charger after a day in the sunshine 😉😉

If you'd prefer to see the scarecrows in a quieter environment, we recommend coming during the week days - the Institute is open all week to provide refreshments - come and support the local causes and eat some yummy bakes.

One week to go!

The finishing touches are underway in Wray - scarecrows are being built, tweaked and dressed ready for their big moment 🌾
Behind the scenes, our brilliant volunteers are working hard busy preparing the village to welcome you all.

Our sausage van is all set up for the Cartmel Racecourse, you can find us opposite the cricket pavilion
