MEI DJ (pronounced as “mey”) debuted as a disc jockey at Fat Bar, Dagupan City, Pangasinan in 2021. As a child, her first exposure to music was through singing. Her interest in DJing did not come about early on. While she certainly enjoyed partying in college, it was only during an exchange student program in Tokyo, Japan in 2019 (where she had to chance to experience its unique club culture and

witnessed Dutch DJ MESTO’s performance at Warp Shinjuku) that her dream of becoming a DJ materialized. She is currently in law school and aims to become a lawyer, with a humble, fulfilling career as a DJ. Mentored by her brother, fellow DJ DA HUAN, MEI steadily rises as one of the most sought-after open format DJs in town. Her magnetic vibe and wide array of music—from Latin house, Tech house, Top 40s, Nu Disco, RnB, Afrobeats, HipHop, Moombahton, EDM, Jersey Club and many more—definitely makes her a crowd favorite, rocking the dance floor from one performance to another.
