I will officiate your ceremony in Ibiza and beyond. I travel to mainland Spain, Mallorca, Belgium, .... (+expenses)

I will conduct your ceremony with a grounded, calm energy so that you can be in the moment. With empathy, humour and emotion, I will bring a smile, a tear and sometimes all of the above.

Life is feeling. Life is emotion.
When you can feel, you know you are alive.

I moved to Ibiza in 2014 after being in love with the island for years.

My first season in Ibiza was magical. I fell in love with the casualness and the fact that everyone could be themselves. I experienced the feeling of 'freedom' and non-judgement. I feel judging, is something we have to strive to do less of.

Looking back on my life now...

I feel that language, speaking, writing, communicating and storytelling have always come naturally to me.

In kindergarten, I was in trouble for talking too much. In primary school, I was top of the class in 'reading out loud'.
When I started studying 'modern languages' at secondary school, I excelled in all of them. Later, I did a bachelor's in 'Communication'.

In my work, all my natural gifts come together.
I aim to touch your heart and the hearts of your guests with my words.

Intentional words are powerful.
Words can touch you in your soul.

🖤🤍 𝐈𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝

A while ago Kristina contacted me to discuss her wishes for her wedding in Ibiza.
In a month from now, they would be flying from the US to Europe to embark on a cruise in the Mediterranean.

During their day stop here in Ibiza, I was going to organise their wedding ceremony, just for the two of them and Robert's son.

We started planning the ceremony and then things got quiet.
Kristina soon informed me that Robert had suffered a serious MX racing accident while competing at the raceway.

After going into cardiac arrest on the track he was revived and taken to hospital where it was diagnosed that he had a broken C2 and was paralysed from the neck down.

I was moved by Kristina's strength and the beautiful words she wrote about him. Her faith gave her the strength to face the difficult and nerve-wracking time after his operation.

She quietly asked Robert : "let's imagine that we'll still say our vows, but just a little later'.

This whole experience has taught Kristina how much she loves Robert.
She felt that her love for him had no limits and she never knew she could have so much love for someone.

Sadly, his injuries were too severe and Robert passed away a couple of days ago.
You can imagine that Kristina's world and heart have been shattered.

Her words:

"In the 13 years we have been together, we knew a love that was so special, so much that others will never know it in a lifetime...
We were so blessed and I am grateful for our time together.
He has always been my hero and he saved my life as well.
I'm now living a life that I never knew possible before, all because of Robert.

Robert's son, Nick is graduating cm laude next week and both Kristina and Nick will miss Robert's presence deeply.

𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 - 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫

We were looking for a Flemish officiant for our wedding in Ibiza. I found Wendy through social media. And right from the start, after a few emails, I had a great feeling about Wendy. Fast, smooth communication. Just from the emails I could feel her warmth. It felt good. And our feeling was only strengthened.

Wendy stayed with us throughout the whole wedding planning process. We received a comprehensive questionnaire, tips and tricks. And she did everything she could to make the ceremony "our" ceremony. Our story. With nice touches like a handfasting ritual and shots. She was so much more to us than just a 'speaker'.

As I often find it difficult to release control, Wendy suggested that we keep the script of the ceremony a secret. So that we could hear it for the first time on our wedding day. And I'm so glad we agreed. Normally I would have had so much trouble with that. But because everything felt right with Wendy, we could trust her blindly. It was actually a really nice idea of hers.

The ceremony was one of the best moments of our lives. She made sure that we were completely in the moment. She wrote a wonderful story about us. Together with our guests we cried, laughed, cried and laughed again. It was as if Wendy had known us for 12 years and had followed our relationship closely. Every detail was right. Also the way she delivered it: lovingly, emotionally and with a lot of empathy. A speaker who makes you hang on her every word.

As an event planner, I have seen many (ceremony) speakers, but none like Wendy. She is highly recommendable. This will be talked about for a long time. And for our vow renewal in x number of years, we have only one requirement: Wendy has to do it.

▶ En dan krijg ik de vraag: " kan je ook naar België komen voor een ceremonie?"

Natuurlijk KAN ik dat.
En natuurlijk WIL ik dat.

Soms ga je ervan uit dat iets vanzelfsprekend is, maar dat is het eigenlijk nooit.

'Ga niet uit van veronderstellingen'.. is één van de 'the four agreements' uit het boek van Don Miguel Ruiz.

De andere drie zijn:

- Doe altijd je best
- Wees onberispelijk met je woorden
- Vat niets persoonlijk op

Tot zover deze les in bewustzijn van vandaag.

✅Maar ja, ik kan en wil dus zeker graag naar België komen voor je huwelijksceremonie of vernieuwing van de geloften.
✅Als ik in Ibiza niet al geboekt ben, dan met veel plezier.

But why is that?
There are several reasons for this trend:

But maybe some things seem obvious, like who should officiate?

Won't it be cheaper and more meaningful if you ask your cousin or best friend to officiate our Ibiza wedding?

Yes, this is an option....
❌However, it is also possible that the process will be more stressful and the end product will not be anything like what you had hoped for.

This is why I recommend that you choose a wedding celebrant to conduct your ceremony.

❓Would you ask your best friend to bake the wedding cake if she had never done it before?

❗️Even if cousin 'Linda' is a great public speaker and knows you and your partner incredibly well, it is wrong to assume that she can just throw something together.

✅And you know what else?
Just like you, your cousin Linda deserves the opportunity to enjoy your ceremony and celebrate you as a couple without any added stress,

We, the celebrants, also come free of family baggage.😅
I don't know if your grandfather doesn't like cousin Linda or if uncle Bob is a grumpy man.

✅The joy of choosing a celebrant is that we will only reflect back to you what you show us.

▶I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy to learn all about wedding ceremonies and the role of the celebrant which makes me more knowledgable about the topic than your sweet cousin 'Linda' 😁

These 2 'enamorados' and engaged lovebirds are getting married on our beloved Ibiza next September.

Camila has a special connection to the island and the couple loves the mix of luxury with bohemian style that none of the other islands have.

They are tying the know at and when they first visited this venue for their special day, they knew it had to be this one.🌟
No other venue had this same mix of beach/class/relaxed/boho vibe as Experimental beach club Ibiza.

🌴Sara & Feras dreamt of a relaxed wedding, surrounded by their closest friends, and thanks to Feras and him planning & organizing everything for the wedding in Ibiza, the dream came true!

➡ Picture this - a beautiful ceremony by the pool, surrounded with rose petals (just like the night he proposed to Sara 🥰 )

🌞The warm Ibiza sun as a blessing to their love story.

➡They lounged on the comfy sofa, while sipping on refreshing gin tonics...
Meantime, I was sharing anecdotes that made everyone understand their love story even more.

🥂 Friends from all over the world present... not just as guests but as witnesses to this epic love journey.

Finding love might have seemed like a distant dream...
But then, when it happens, you just know.

The breathtaking views from the villa in Can Furnet added that extra touch of magic to that special day, making it absolutely unforgettable.

Cherishing the memories of that hot summer day, the laughter and the moments we spent together.

𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗘 Imagine this... Francis & Stefanie are on holiday with friends in Ibiza and planned dinner in Cotton Beach club. Only one person knows about the marriage proposal....the friend who hid the ring in the safe. And, as usual, the most memorable moments don't quite go as planned. The friend forgot the code for the safe. Result: Francis at the scene without a ring. The poor guy had to entertain the whole gang, keep calm, and above all stop them from getting some bubbles.🍾🥂 When the ring (and the friend) arrived by taxi, the moment had come... The waiter suggested taking a group photo and when everyone was ready and posing with a 'big smile", Francis fell to his knees and asked: "Stefanietje, will you marry me?" Stefanie was speechless and forgot to say 'YES' because of all the emotion. Only tears & hugs followed... Sometimes words are not necessary.😍
