12 days until Christmas 👀 waking up the morning of this shoot the winter forecast looked terrible. Our weeks of planning and excitement were haunted by the chance of rain. After showing up it was evident that the forecast was actually perfect. The fog settled over which felt like we were working right in Scandinavia.

Venue Spotlight - Quick notes on in Franconia, N.H. ! It’s engagement season and finding the perfect vendors for your 2025 or 2026 wedding can be daunting. We’re going to highlight vendors throughout New England to help you narrow down the search!

Highlights From Toad Hill Farm below!

1. Expansive property - the large paddock not only offers plenty of space for your wedding tent but can also accommodate a Plan B ceremony tent, catering teams and a rehearsal dinner or welcome reception. There’s room to host the entire weekend!

2. Panoramic Views. This particular wedding happened to be on a partially cloudy day but you can’t beat the panoramic views of NH White Mountains from this property! If you’re looking for a “mountain” wedding venue, this is an incredible spot!

3. On site lodging and hospitality. The farmhouse on site offers a space for your bridal party to sleep and get ready for the big day! The owners stay right on site and are active in ensuring guests comfort throughout the weekend. You’re sure to see a golden or two during your stay!

North Country Night Out for a rehearsal dinner at Coyote Grill 🐎🍸 how do I encourage my guests to wear attire on theme? Clearly outline on your wedding website about the style of event you are hosting and “highly encourage” your guests to wear articles of clothing that fit the theme.

For example, “We will be having a bluegrass band playing at our welcome reception. We highly encourage you to wear boots ready to be danced in!”

A signature bar top. Our top three must have elements to an engaging event bar.

1. The bar should be fun! Quick grabs are our favorite, placing your custom printed match books in a funky vase is a great way to take up space! Accessorize with custom cocktail napkins and extra candles!
2. Signage, of course! How else are guests going to know about your signature drinks?
3. Something large or colorful to draw attention to the bar. This could be a big arrangement, statement cocktail tables in front of the bar or a beautiful back bar display.

Trending for 2025, hour and half of cocktails! 🍸 The traditional hour of cocktails sometimes just doesn’t feel quite long enough. Most of our private estate clients are opting for a longer cocktail hour to ensure they are able to mingle with more of their wedding guests.
