Hannah and Matt put together a beautiful wedding surrounded by nature at the 54 acre Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms property in St. Augustine, FL.

Many of their close friends and family came out to celebrate them. You could easily see the great amount of love and support they have from their loved ones throughout the entire day.

Thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding. I had an awesome time capturing this special day for you. I’m so excited for you both as you move into this next chapter of your lives.

The wedding of Reilly and Braden was a special one for me to film🎥

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to also work with one of Reilly’s sisters for her wedding. Fast forward to October and now Reilly is getting married. One of the best parts of my job is being able to meet and work with so many amazing people and also getting to know their families and friends.

This wedding was stunning✨

Callie & Bradley are great people whose wedding I had the honor to capture. Something cool that we did for their wedding was attach GoPros to their dogs so we could get their points of view. This was very exciting for us to plan. You’ll see a clip of this from one of their dogs in the trailer above🐶🎥

They were married at an incredible venue called Sugar Pointe Estates which sits right on the Florida / Georgia border. This a 50 acre property that offers a waterfront view and is beautifully intertwined with nature.

This was such a fun and exciting engagement film that I got to work on in June 2022. Amanda and Colin are also filmmakers themselves, so throughout the entire pre-production and production process we were bouncing ideas off of each other for how we wanted to capture the vision that we had for the film.

Read below for what I believe is a faster way to control light than a ND filter.

First off, let me give a brief overview on what a ND filter is. Neutral Density filters (ND filters) let you control how much light is entering your lens. Think of them like putting sun glasses on a camera lens.

However, instead of using these on wedding days, I recommend instead to use higher shutter speeds to control light and create a correctly exposed image.

In the world of video, I know this is sometimes frowned upon because you are now breaking the 180 degree shutter rule. This rule says that you should keep your shutter speed double your frame rate. This allows you to have more cinematic like video because of natural motion blur.

However, on a wedding day you don’t usually have many fast moving scenes (people running, fast moving vehicles, fast panning movements with the camera, etc.), so you really won’t notice that your shutter speed is higher than double your frame rate. The benefit to this is that it allows you to quickly adjust your exposure for light or dark scenes without having to go to your camera bag to grab a different ND filter.

One of the most exciting parts for me when editing this project was that I was able to integrate engagement session footage into the film. Stoked to be able to share this destination wedding film from the beautiful beaches of Pensacola, Fl🌴

One of my favorite parts of their day was their ceremony on the balcony of the venue. It took place at sunset which backlit the ceremony site and gave us these warm golden tones in the distance.

The dog’s reaction to receiving the floral collar was so cute🥹When we first talked about what was important to her on her wedding day, Callie brought up that her dog was very special to her. In her wedding day timeline she set aside time to have a few minutes with her pup, and give her a beautiful floral collar to wear for the wedding day. We had the idea that to capture this for video we would put a GoPro on her dog as well, so we could also have the dog’s point of view as she walked up to Callie. Wow, I can’t believe that my sister is now married. It seems like not that long ago we were just kids playing outside together with our friends. The historic Ribault Club located in Jacksonville, Florida is such a beautiful and memorable location to hold a wedding. Located on Fort George Island Cultural State Park the venue is surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. @lauragilinsky and Billy held a small ceremony below one of the giant oak trees on the property and a dinner reception afterwards underneath the stars with about 50 guests.
