We have work with Santas, Reenactors, Cosplayers and anyone eles who thinks of something fun. Kristie Covic of Costumemagic.com (formerly Harlequin Costume) has been working with Santas and Mrs. Claus since Santa Gordon Bailey walked into her store in 1995 and ordered his first professional Santa Suit. Shortly after that Kristie joined Santa Gordon in becoming Mrs. Claus and a Face painting Elf. S

he attended Tim Connaghans first class at UCLA; she was referenced in the first edition of Behind the Red Suit by Tim Connaghan. She attended the First Convention in Branson, Mo, and the First in Gatlinburg TN. She has worked with Santas in home visits, corporate parties, and Malls. She has also worked solo as a Crafty Mrs. Claus and Face Painting Mrs. Kristie has been building suits and outfits for Santa & Mrs. Claus for over 30 years. Starting with alterations to rental Claus outfits and emergency repairs for Professional Santas and Mrs. Claus Kristie started building her own brand of Christmas outfits, learning from the problems she had come across helping all her clients. Kristie makes one-of-a-kind Outfits made to order. She concentrates on the fit and individuality of each outfit. She has made suits for clients across America and even Israel. She prefers to work in natural fabric for the coolness and comfort of her clients. When her clients are in colder weather, she adds additional lining to keep her clients toasty as well as comfortable. Kristie's Mrs. Claus outfits are design one on one with her ladies. From the traditional Granny to the more modern Lady of the Village, all her Mrs. Claus pay special attention to the raising awareness of what Mrs. Claus brings to the table. Claus has more standalone events and needs the versatility to change her outfit to suit the client's needs. Claus also needs to coordinate with Santa when they have combined events. One of the biggest tools Kristie uses with her clients is talking. “Most clients know what they want, they might just know it yet. We talk until I know what you want too

Working with hundreds of Santas and Mrs. Claus has given her the opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes struggles and solutions that come with being a Christmas performer. From first time Santa's to long time professionals Kristie Covic has had the unique opportunity to be a Performer, a Designer, and a Teacher, telling her Christmas story in person and through her designs.
