Our third speaker for the event, Prof. John Ap. He served as a professor and director of the Global Centre for Tourism Education & Training at the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM). He collaborated with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and he was also an organizer in delivering workshop presentations for UNWTO. With his long experience in the industry, he has now specialized with over 11 years of professional experience in Australia and has a marvelous involvement in education. Dr. John Ap will be talking about “Tourism of the Future: Leadership Towards Sustainability, Inclusivity, and Resiliency”.🔮

Our second speaker, Prof. Marcus Stephenson, he is also a professor of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Dean of School of Hospitality at Service Management at Sunway University in Malaysia. He also conducted tourism research in the Caribbean, East Africa, Middle East, Pacific Island States, and the United Kingdom. Prof. Marcus Stephenson is also the co-author of Tourism and Citizenship: Rights, Freedoms and Responsibilities in the Global Order (2014, Routledge), the co-editor of International Tourism Development and the Gulf Cooperation Council States: Challenges and Opportunities (2017, Routledge), and the editor of the Routledge Handbook on Tourism and Small Island States in the Pacific (2023, Routledge). Prof. Marcus Stephenson will be talking about “Redefining Transformative Tourism and Hospitality: The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Beyond!”.🔮

For our first speaker, Prof. Huong Bui, PhD. She has been teaching for more than 20 years in international institutions like Japan, Australia, Austria, and Vietnam. Currently, she is a professor in Tourism and Hospitality at the College of Sustainability and Tourism - Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). She earned her PhD at the Griffith Business School, Griffith University in Australia. She also earned several achievements, one of which is the APU Award for Outstanding Research in 7 consecutive years from 2014 - 2021. Dr. Huong Bui, PhD will be talking about “The Recovery of the ASEAN Tourism: The Future of Travel Destinations”.🔮
