This is why chosen family is very important to the q***r community, because the family we make is there for us in our times of need, if we need a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to. Not everyone has a biological family that they can turn to for support. Some Biological family member can be some of your biggest haters and will tear you down. Family is Supposed to build you up not try and tear you down. I’m super greatful to my chosen family for being there for me when some of my actual “family” is against me and who I am as a person.
