Surprise! When I got back into everything earlier this year after not being very active the last couple of years, I kept questioning whether or not I wanted to keep my original business name or not. I sorta felt like I was growing out of it, especially with some of the things I eventually wanna get into. Originally, I was just going to “try on” a new name but only for specific markets and faires. I came up with a few names I thought about trying on, but then my husband and I thought of this and I just loved it so much. It felt right, especially the more I thought about it. No need to try on. So, we’re rebranding! I will be changing my IG handle soon but I’m going to wait a little bit. What do you think? 😁
I made another nerdy tie for my husband to wear to his friends wedding yesterday. It was a hit. Everyone loved it, people were shocked to find out it was handmade. At the behest of my husband (lmao) I will most likely be making more ties for sale. Is there a print or pattern you’d like to see made into a tie? How much would you pay for one of these? I have no idea where to start 🙃
Today I experimented with making neck ties. They’re somewhat frustrating, but I like the way they turned out!
The current flannel designs I have in stock for rice pack animals! I can use some of my regular cotton too, but I just don’t really like them in cotton as much. The flannel is a heavier duty material and holds together well.
I’ve got the cut outs for 12 regular sized Buns and 10 regular sized Penguins. Next up is making cut outs for some bigger sizes but also actually sewing them all together
His face is a little uneven since I was rushing through as a tester, but I’ve decided I should make some rainbow pride rice pack animals! Regular Bun weighs an average of just over 1lb. King Bun (the other Big Bun) weighs average of just over 2.5lb. Ultimate Bun weighs an average of just over 5lbs!

So excited for Ultimate Bun. Showed the cut outs to my husband and his eyes went wide and he told me how he was concerned Ultimate Bun will use up half the bag of rice. 🤣 we shall see where Ultimate Bun lands!
Just for reference in regards to Ultimate Bun, this is one of the ears (prior to rice) next to my hand.
After my friend requested a larger version of the Bun, I just kept trying to go bigger. Today, I have made the pattern for Ultimate Bun. We will see where he sits at size & weight wise once I can fill it with rice.

Friendo asked for a larger version of the bunny rice pack, so here it is. Not quite double the size, but definitely bigger and heavier than the original

I’ve been playing around with some scraps and made a little fidget hand maze with a marble inside! Still needs some work to perfect (this is the prototype) but this size is 8.5x5.25in 😍
Just a few more of the things I’ve managed to get some photos of this last week that I’ve been busy getting out. I’m so happy to see the rice packs gaining in popularity again; I absolutely love making these.
Sorry for the lack of posting! I have been busy!! I haven’t even been able to take the pics I’ve been meaning to. So here’s a few of the things that went out this last week. I’m in the works of making a couple new things that will be added into the Etsy shop come the new year 🤭
I’m going to be sewing all day. Tomorrow I’m going to be making one last trip to the post office to ship off a bunch of priority packages that /should/ arrive by Wednesday or Thursday to most places. (I don’t have control over delays or whether your label prints off as a 2-day or 3-day).

I’m a little behind on posting, but here’s a few things made recently! Rice packs make great gifts and stocking stuffers. The hearts are about palm sized; and the penguins are about the size of a small abdomen!
Meet Tari and her sister Luna. These two are off to their new homes tomorrow, but you can order a custom animal rice pack for $23-25 ($23 for normal stuffing like Tari, $25 for extra stuffing like Luna) +shipping. They are about the size of small abdomens. The normal stuffed are easier to mold to your body, whereas the slightly more stuffed has some extra weight to it for added pressure. They are wonderful for sensory needs. These make great Christmas presents, especially for kids.
