I just want to say thank you so much to this supportive community for embracing my quirks and my creations for the last 4 amazing years. It has made me strong, taught me essential skills, and made me the person I am today. I started this business during Covid for a creative outlet, aiming to create a non-judgmental and fun space to share my love for flowers. The journey with my business has its ups and downs, but mostly, it’s dancing around with flowers. Thank you for the ongoing support, excited to share more soon! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Lately, a lot of people have been asking me why flowers cost a lot of money. Here are just a few ways you can begin to understand why:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) Consider all the many people involved before the florist even arrives at the markets to purchase the flowers - this can include but not limited to growers, sellers, drivers etc
2) Watch a florist at the next wedding or event you are at. They are the ones holding the perfect florals they spent hours creating and are now lugging around the venue to make sure it looks perfectly for the customer they have spent hours talking to on the phone for months.
3) Look at the state of their nails, the bags under their eyes and the smile on their faces.

When requesting lower prices, remember it affects their livelihood and ability to invest in their business. Flowers may seem pricey but this is due to the many costs associated with running a small business. Small business owners need constant support from their communities. Liking, commenting, sharing and tagging are ways that you can help support small businesses.

My favourite type of cloud. Reminiscing on one of my favourite weddings to date, a simple, but elegant selection of flowers. The babies breath cloud not only made an appearance at the ceremony, but also the reception, and then each guest took a handful of babies breath home with them as a momento of the beautiful day they just had. My smile says it all! 🤍
