Morning!

It’s a bit grey out there today so we’ve got a brand new cheese from Doddington on the counter…Hotspur. Matured for 4-6 months before being marinated in olive oil then coated in black pepper this fiery cheese will be sure to warm you up!

Pop in for a taster and see how it pairs with some of Northumbrian Pantry’s pickled spiced pears. 😋

We have 2 newbies on the cheese counter today & both have been requested by our lovely customers.

Raclette is a Swiss staple traditionally melted and served with potatoes, pickles and charcuterie; it’s a bundle of yummy goodness and perfect for this weather!

Handmade and related to Swaledale & Wensleydale Cotherstone is named after a village and parish in Teesdale, County Durham. Wrapped in wax it’s crumbly, lemony and slightly tangy. 😋

Loving our new arrival of Blue Murder today from Soft and creamier than your typical blue with a beautiful blue vein running through it.

We’ve also got some old favourites including Yorkshire and Harrogate Blues, our local Darling Blue and after a long wait we’ve finally got Blue Monday back…hooray! 👏🏼

What a fabulous, foody festival weekend we’ve had The Big Feastival. 🏕

We’ve cooked, we’ve danced, we’ve eaten, and we’ve been inspired by lots of amazing foody folk including Thomasina Miers and Clare Smyth.

It was great to see some of our favourite products in the festival field too! The Uncommon Wine of England, Marlish Waters Ltd and one of our favourite blue cheeses, Blue Monday from the man himself Alex James.

Looking forward to seeing you all… back open tomorrow 10am! X
