Calling all young aspiring artists of Olongapo!

Join the Olongapo Mardi Gras On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest and win SM Gift Certificates!

Mechanics:
1. The contest is open to all Junior (14-16 year olds) and Senior High School (17-21 year olds) students enrolled in any schools/institutions of Olongapo City. Joining the contest will be free of charge.
2. Registration starts at 10:00 AM on October 26, 2023. The student’s school ID must be presented upon registration. Registration ends at 11AM.
3. The poster must illustrate, interpret, and emphasize the theme which will revolve around “Olongapo City”. The specific theme will be announced on the day of the contest.
4. The posters will be drawn on a ⅛ illustration board. The board is readily provided at the venue. Participants must bring their own choice of coloring media.
5. Artwork Making will start at 11AM. Participants will be given one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes to complete their posters. The participants will be held accountable for any issues that may arise with regards to the originality and authenticity of the design. Artworks must be finished by 12:30PM.
6. Awarding would be by 1PM onwards.
7. DTI representative shall be invited to facilitate and supervise the contest. The organizer's decision is final in concurrence with DTI.
8. All SM Supermalls employees, its affiliates, ad agencies, mall tenants, their respective officers and employees and their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not qualified to join the competition.

CRITERIA
The criteria for judging will be as follows:
Creativity and Presentation —————40%
Originality ———————————— 30%
Relevance to the theme ——————- 30%

PRIZES
At the end of the program, the top three (3) posters will be awarded with the following:
(JUNIOR)
First place: Php 3,000 + Certificate
Second place: Php 2,000 + Certificate
Third place: Php 1,000 + Certificate

(SENIOR)
First place: Php 3,000 + Certificate
Second place: Php 2,000 + Certificate
Third place: Php 1,000 + Certificate

The winning posters will also be displayed at the Level 3 of SM City Olongapo Downtown.

Limited slots only!
