The Space Schismn followers are typically gifted with an understanding of science. They believe there is an infinite amount of nothing.
If you ask one to explain this, they will usually say that there is an equal amount of matter and anti-matter, once combined they will cancel each other out, leaving nothing.

The Dark Schismn, also known as Afterlife are made up mainly of people of all religions from the old world. After a lot of research and discussion they have finally come to an agreement on all topics they previously fought and died over in the past. Needless to say they are experts in all things life and especially afterlife.

Light schismn followers have retained a great knowledge of pyrotechnics, refraction and reflections. When displaying their knowledge others are known to say things like ohhhhh and ahhhhh.

Air Schism followers are unpredictable and can be taken in many ways from warm and welcoming, to just downright cold. They are known for change without warning. First appearance may be calm and collected, then without warning you can be thrust into the most violent of storms.

The Life Schism followers are the most peaceful people of all the Schisms. Sometimes compared to "hippies" of the 1960's, they are placid, welcoming to all and promoters of peace, man!
That is until they are cornered in Battle when you will truly see which life is most valuable.

The Water Schism followers are the most adaptable of all of the schism's, probably due to the fact that their element may present in either solid, liquid or gaseous forms. At regular temperature they will go with the flow. Give them a cold response and they will solidify, giving you little movement, but if you turn up the heat, they can explode! They are known to disagree with the life schism followers regularly as they believe that without water, there is no life.

The Earth Schism followers are traditionally known as the "grounded" people. Pleasant, well spoken and would not have a bad word to say about any of the other schisms. Others may say they are dirty and smell, but that is a matter of personal opinion.

The Fire Schism followers are known for their short tempers and aggressive behavior.
These people are impulsive, quick to judge and quick to act. They are also quick to change their minds as new information is presented, meaning they neither favor nor disfavor any of the other schisms more than another.

After several global pandemics in the early 21st century and the ensuing world war that decimated most of the human race, the survivors who were confined to the only remaining livable area on the planet vowed to never allow armed conflict ever again.
Disillusioned with the previous world order, the surviving humans aligned themselves not with countries or governments, but into a more primitive grouping known as the Schisms. Each Schism exalted one of the 4 elements at first, being Earth, Air, Fire or Water, but before long another 4 Schism's emerged: Life, Light, Dark, and Space. While all the survivors were able to co-exist in peace, the Schism conclaves would meet regularly to discuss their points of difference or grievances at a peaceful meeting point, known as the Realm.
After many years of meetings, some ending in deadlock, the realm created a battlefield that could satisfy the survivors primal urge to wage war in order to implement their will, but with one major difference: Nobody is hurt.
And so was born... Battle @ the Realm.
