Dahlia lovers, it’s your time! While we missed the local blooms from Farmermaid this season, we’re thrilled to bring you stunning dahlias from our friend Javier, who drives up and down California with his family, bringing flowers to us florists in the hinterlands. He works hard to bring us the best, so your purchase supports two wonderful small businesses! Over the weekend, we hit the road and found some amazing fresh finds to elevate your Thanksgiving decor. Something extra special is coming together today and will be live on the website soon, so keep those eyes peeled and tell your friends! The holiday prep is in full swing, and we can’t wait for you to see the fun new additions in store!

Wow, month two already—who knew! It’s been absolutely amazing meeting everyone who’s stopped by to explore the shop and support us. Your feedback has been incredible, and we’re so grateful for all the love so far!

We’re excited to keep growing our inventory (stay tuned for some fun new finds 👀). You might also see a few tweaks here and there, plus some new floral drops we’ve been dreaming up—because, hey, you just gotta roll with it, right?

Here’s a detail shot of a lily of the valley bridal bouquet I made for a wedding in Sacramento. The wedding actually ended up happening a year after I originally booked it, due to Covid postponements and changing regulations. By the time it rolled around, I’d relocated to Dallas, and the event had moved from San Francisco to Sacramento to be held at the brides family winery estate. So, I flew back to California, stayed in an Airbnb near the venue, and set up in the winery cellar to prep the florals—with help from my mom.

It was definitely an adventure. If that doesn’t say “I’ll go the distance (literally) for my clients,” I’m not sure what does! Always happy to go above and beyond to honor my commitments and the beauty we create together.

Hey, it’s Saturday! Our favorite day of the week! 🌸 We completely sold out yesterday (woohoo!), so we’re heading over to Javier’s Flower Express this morning to grab some fresh blooms. We also got a bunch of new pottery in yesterday, and we’ll be busy potting those up today! 🪴

A quick note as we figure out our flower buy each week—flowers are pricey and they’re perishable. While we’d love to keep our flower table fully stocked 24/7, we’re still learning what works (and what doesn’t). It’s a bit of a gamble each week since we’re still so new. So, spread the word, tell your friends, and if you’ve already visited us, please leave us a review! 💕

Thank you so much for all the support so far—we couldn’t do this without you!

Hey! Welcome to my shop, where some serious brainstorming and elbow grease transformed this wall into what you see today. Fun fact: it almost became a secret library door situation—think floor-to-ceiling shelving and a hidden door vibe. But let’s be real, getting flower arrangements out of that would’ve been a logistical nightmare. 😂 So, instead, we leaned into the French door fantasy, thanks to my trusty friend Facebook Marketplace. And speaking of epic finds, we even drove all the way to San Diego to snag this bar from a smoke shop for $350! What could’ve been a $50K built-in project ended up being a $1,500 labor of love.

And none of this could have been possible without my new friend Dana Lossing! I had big dreams for this space, but translating a vision into a rendering? Not my strong suit. Dana was invaluable—she created renderings for both color schemes I was torn between, and had amazing ideas for what could and couldn’t go where. She was amazing to work with! And this wouldn’t have been possible without her. Thank you 🙏

Big shoutout to Lyngard for the fabulous handcrafted pendant lights. They were a bit of a splurge, but totally worth it! It’s like thrifting a gown and pairing it with expensive earrings—no one questions if the rest of the outfit was thrifted. 😉💡💫 Proof that you can make your dream space happen, even on a budget!
