It’s been two years since I went through a major artistic shift and I feel myself in the midst of one again. While the goal is to continually document my couples in an artistic way, I find myself being heavily inspired by the organic moments and capturing love stories as they are, which is perfect and unique in their own way.

One year since these two tied the knot and threw one of the most FUN and thoughtful weddings I’ve had the privilege of documenting. Sam and Lexie’s approach to wedding planning is one I hope all couples can embrace. The idea of not only making time for each other and celebrating this next step in their relationship, but spending as much time as possible with the their favorite people. To do this, they set out to create a 2 day celebration that included not only a private ceremony a day before their reception with only immediate family and wedding party, but we built in multiple moments for us to step away for couples portraits over the 2 days to maximize time spent with friends.

I cannot wrap my mind around it being 2024! I am so thrilled at what this year has in store and I can’t wait to continue to grow and fall more in love with my craft. This year I will be diving more into my editorial style and documenting more on film. I have 2 new film cameras coming in the mail this week that I am GIDDY about. I also have so much work from this past year I need to share, so stay tuned for that.
