We are opening developer applications for the Covid-19 Indie Dev Fundraising Conference in VR to raise funds for indie devs impacted by Covid-19.

Please complete the developer application if you wish to be considered for funding. Please feel free to forward to developers who may be interested.

The fundraiser will launch on gofundme with an initial goal of $10,000 distributed to 10 developers with $1000 going to each developer. As donations and sponsorships exceed the initial goal, more developers will be added to receive funding.

Please email [email protected] you are interested in being a sponsor(donors >$1) or community partner (spreads the word).

The Covid-19 Indie Dev Fundraising Conference in VR consists of:

Talks for developers to tell their indie dev story

Exhibition to connect developers and donors for networking, encourage donors to join developer discord communities, and share game keys with donors

We understand that many indie developers are often tightly bootstrapped and rely on different sources of income, and this pandemic has made it difficult for many indie developers to pay for rent and food and continue pursuing their careers as indie developers.

We hope the networking, community building, and funding value of this fundraising conference can help indie developers overcome the challenges that Covid-19 has brought.

Thanks to Commonwealth Club of California for bringing us in for the 2nd year in a row, as the VR experience entertainment for their annual fundraiser during SF Fleet Week’s Blue Angels Flyby.
Participants of all ages enjoyed the VR experience while inside a Blue Angels cockpit as the real Blue Angels flew by and shook the building.
