This week the larkspur is popping! We have it in white, soft pink, lavender, and purple/indigo. This is one we seeded in fall and watched it survive all winter long. It is such a beautiful spike flower and will be perfect in presentation bouquets for graduations this week!

It’s going to be a beautiful week! We will be at the Union Farmer’s Market with mixed bouquets, this Friday (Aug 12), from 4-7pm. It should be a lovely afternoon, hope to see you there!
Starflower is a fun new one for us. You actually let the flower fade so you get these fun pods that have stars in them. We are growing then for some of our fall dried decor, but we can’t help but use them in our fresh arrangements and bouquets too!
We can’t wait to see you at Neighborhood Reads! 10am-noon or while supplies last!
FAQ: What will you do in the winter?
While it’s true that we will only have fresh cut flowers available through the first frost, we are already drying flowers for some other fun flower products. We are dreaming up some fun decor for Christmas too!
These zinnias have such a fun quality to them, I felt like a photo just can’t capture it! It starts off a rosey-red on the outsides and fades to this fuschia towards the center. The entire flower sort of has this iridescent quality to it!
Remember my story of soil blocking and starting the ornamental kale seeds last Tuesday? Look at these babies a week later! Tomorrow I will pot them up so they have all the nutrients they need to grow a few more weeks under grow lights. I thought it would be fun for you all to watch these guys grow with me. -Jen 🌱
