My name is Jing Reilly. I am a Mum of two beautiful children and an adorable dog.

Like many of you, I have had a very demanding corporate career before having children and living through pandemic. As a child, I have always enjoyed watching my Mum making all the crafts for school; I studied arts for years as a hobby but somehow lost it after I moved to Ireland 20 years ago. "Move fast, break things" was the motto that I was accustomed to for years when I worked in technology ind

ustry. Now I love spending time to create beautiful things, helping you to celebrate special occasions and make wonderful memories with loved ones through decorations.

Do you still have your favourite childhood teddy bear? or a bear that was gifted by someone special?

I still like to hold my favourite teddy bear (Albert) to sleep- the dog who is wearing the red top in this photo, and yes we have birthday parties for him.

Teddy bears are often our first friend in life and who is always there ready to comfort us when we need, regardless how old we become.

I name my party decorations for hire business "About the bear" and it is really "About the Love". Once you are loved, you become real.

Party decorations is just another way to say "How much I love you".

One of the very first words (or sounds) my daughter used was B(ear). Her big and alert eyes can spot any bear in the room; her dainty fingers would be pointing at them while babbling the sound ‘b’. Later when she got big...

Who else love pompoms?

My 8 year old son loves helping me to shape PomPoms, he said it makes him calm and happy.

The processing of making these were therapeutic and fun. They really brighten yo the party in many ways.

Why did I called it “About a Bear”?

When my daughter was only 10 months old, she used to get very excited when she saw bears in her room. She pointed at them, hugged them, climbed on top of them, kissed them like they were real!

We all have that favourite toy or teddy bear who we sought comfort and made lots of wonderful memories with.

So it made me want to build a decoration business to create happiness and wonderful memories, especially for the people we love.
