With wedding clients specifically, one of my fave things to do is visit venues AND meet the parents! 🤩

There’s something special about letting your parents feel included in the process of your big day. They don’t need to (& shouldn’t) make decisions for your wedding day, but it’s a nice bonus to think of a few ways you can have them tag along in your planning journey like visiting venues, tasting cakes, etc. They’re just as excited as you (even if they don’t show it; we all know some parents fake it - sorry parents 😋).

The DEIB team at Curology invited me to speak to their ERG leaders about for their professional development series. I provided a master class on how to plan a great virtual event, what platforms are out there & some ideas on how to incorporate , , & !

Virtual events have been a huge part of these past two years and I personally love it! It’s challenged me to really think outside the box to engage with audiences and employees globally. 🌎 Who knew these virtual events would be here to stay?!

My main tip I shared: A screen is NOT a barrier; it’s an opportunity to connect differently. Change your perspective when planning a virtual event and be intentional about making it a . 💗

Extremely grateful for this amazing team who produced yesterday’s wedding for G+P at St. Leo the Great & 16th Street Station. 💗 You guys are THE best!

We had a 15-hour production day from set up to clean up. This unique venue has no power, water or restrooms so everything had to be brought in and all these incredible vendors made it happen for our beautiful couple’s special day:

LiveRamp’s WINter Wonderland was TOO fun! Had such a great time working with the team these past two months on their first-ever virtual holiday party using to celebrate the company WINS this year!

was the best emcee, hyping up all 500 attendees through his screen. You know the was too good when you can’t keep up with the chat. 😂

We had .joe.sasto giving us a cooking lesson on a classic carbonara, a crafts session, cookie-making class, mixology, a mentalist, magician, and holiday trivia! To end the night, we had a “residential” LiveRamp DJ and folks playing rounds of Among Us! The options were endless. 🤩

It’s truly incredible how witnessing love makes random people come together. Many people around us stopped and watched, then clapped when she said yes! The weather was perfect, the church bell rang as soon as they arrived, and the holiday lights turned on in celebration! Such a special day for a BEAUTIFUL couple. Last Friday on Nov 20, I turned another year older! 😊 We haven’t been posting much these past weeks because we’ve been spending a lot of time unplugging and finding ways to celebrate my birthday in times of the ‘VID. 😅 Can’t wait to share my experiences in a podcast episode & blog soon!

In the meantime, I just want to thank all of you for your support of . One of my goals before this milestone birthday was to really dive into my event planning business. It has been one year since my launch and I didn’t know I was going to have to get creative so quickly because of this pandemic!

My birthday wish this next year is to continue to grow with Amersive. I’ve been doing so this year because of all of you who have shared or liked our content, recommended us to your friends & family, subscribed to our newsletter and podcast, and booked us for your event, wedding, and proposal!

Every small and/or big action has been a great help so thank you for being part of this journey with me & trusting my creativity and organization. You’re supporting my dream & goals...and that’s already made my birthday one to celebrate. 🥰 Cheers to another year! 🥂🥳
