We are proud to announce statt-Lichtfest as a result of an ongoing brainstorming and collaboration between different grassroots organizations and individuals from Leipzig facilitated by Utopische Tafel & statt-Lichtfest where Kopuntu Network has been a regular resident since Autumn 2019.

In the first pilot edition of "statt-Lichtfest" which is an alternative to Lichfest with its own conceptualization, it reflects and presents historical and contemporary social movements with a tribute to the peaceful revolution of 1989.

We invite you to join our journey on the re-conceptualization of "Peaceful Protests" on every day and every sphere of life on festival days and an online platform will be launched soon for self-organized remembering, intergenerational encounters, and participation.
