It’s June and the gardens are beautiful! Here is what is up at Blooms of the Loop. Our new dahlia bed is in and growing beautifully. Lots of cafe au lait in white and rose along with a great selection of soft tones. Stay tune for the blooms!

The coastline in East Boothbay has wonderful gardens dense with the creamy yellows of jonquils, narcissus and daffodils. So excited to see the green spears poking up, offering its promise of the awakening of spring in the garden.

There is nothing so powerfully beautiful as the scent of newly blooming stargazer lilies , the romance and ethereal emotions it inspires in its perfectly formed bell of delicate blooms is perfection in the garden . This 2020 garden season will soon be awakening bringing us all back to the natural world we aspire to nurture. A little more of this connection to the earth can warms our hearts and is sorely needed in our society today. Become aware of the locally grown flower farms in your area and support the movement of sustainable fields of blooms. I for one, am inspired to share the simple pleasures of gardening and flowers and the healing magic it brings into our lives this season at “Blooms of The Loop Flower Farm“ and will be awaiting the dancing fairies and the magic of stargazers.

Welcome to 2020's opening of Blooms of the Loop!
Specialty Locally grown cut flowers grown right here in Boothbay! (at the Loop of Little River).
Winter is in full swing, but for us gardeners, it is a season of jittery excitement with seeds arriving, dreams of new plantings color, texture and scent just waiting to emerge! This new season along the river will be arriving with the yellow,peaches, creams of daffodils, purples of grape hyacinths, dotting our foggy greys of the winter coastline with its early arrival. Sweetpeas are being sown soon and will be debuting in 5 colors this early spring season . So excited to begin!
