New art forms come to complement our next Recess event! This time Gabrielle Chardigny, a French artist/sculptor, will present pieces of her work called “Lazy Gardner”, recently featured in various locations around Berlin as well as the infamous Waking Life festival 🪴👀🌈
She explores the complex relationship between humans, industry, and nature. By creating an interaction between industrialized and natural materials, she questions the inconsistencies of human actions in the plant world and society’s dysfunction and reveals the reality of an increasingly vulnerable world. Based in Berlin, she works at SudkreuzAteliers. Since 2023, she has been invited to participate in the artist residency: Montemero Residency in Andalusia and to exhibit her work in Portugal, France, and Germany. 💫
