This year Imagination creations lived up to our name.with just a few small items and a little bit of paint. We took the Beauty of an ordinary Sea shell up a couple notches. And the potential is limitless.we now have " SEA ROSES " Which can be made into these Beautiful Arrangements. Prices vary the " Headstone" pieces start at 60$ It is mounted on a wire saddle. And it can be attached to the Headstone. And it will stay securely mounted.
The Dozen Roses in the Vasees are 25$. We have all your favorite colors. " Red, Yellow, Pink, White, Purple and more. You will never worry about finding these Roses dead and lieing on the counter. It's that time of year when we start wondering about what's going to be on our Thanksgiving menus. Well after 3 years of doing " Cakes, Pies and Thanksgiving sides" I've decided to change up some things. Last year at 2;30 am Thanksgiving morning I was in sneads delivering my last Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a little overwhelming. So this year I'm doing " Cakes, Pies and Pumpkin Rolls" the names not as catchy. But, it's gets the point across.lol
This year's Addition to the menu options is a classic Pumpin Roll. It's homemade with fresh pumpkin with just the right amount of those spices that we have become to associate with Thanksgiving. And then it is filled with sweet and cream cheese filling. And then topped with more of this delicious filling and roasted pecans. We will still have the Coconut, Chocolate, and Lemon Cakes and sweet potato, Pumpkin and Coconut meringue pies. We now offer 3 easy ways to pay. " Cash App, Paypal and Venmo"

Starting at the beginning of this month every one that buys a cake will be entered into a drawing, which will be held the second Tuesday of each month. The Drawing will take place at the Vernon Mayors office. Candice Hodge will be selecting the Winner. Who will receive a cake of there choice? Redeemable until the last of December.

Homemade Cakes. All cakes are 10" 5 layers and are completely made from scratch. With the exception of the chocolate cake and the caramel cake which are both 8 layers. We make all cakes to order. Here's a list of some of the cakes. If it's not listed, just ask about it and we may can do it also.
Coconut Cake. Filled and covered with 7 min Frosting
Shadow Cake. This is a chocolate cake with a buttercream frosting with chocolate Ganash pours over the top.
8 layer Chocolate Cake. This is a southern tradition. It has a cooked chocolate frosting.
8 layer Caramel cake. This two has a cooked frosting.
Lemon Cake fresh squeezed lemons are used for this refreshing cake.
German Chocolate Cake.
Ask about your favorite cake. We can probably do it.

All food will be fully cooked and come with heating instructions.
Delivery will be on Nov, 25rh. The day before Thanksgiving. Deliveries in the Vernon area will be free. Others will have a small charge, depending on mileage.

Cooking Tip for the week.
When A recipe calls for eggs, make sure to take them out of the shell.
This really happend to me. Being overly tired and it being 3:00 am and im still baking. I was woken up, standing at my counter with 6 eggs still in the shell, in my cake batter. And yes I threw out the better and went to bed. This happens last year during the Holidays. I think I've got a handle on it now.lol
Seriously. When a recipe calls for eggs. Go ahead and take them out of the fridge about half an hour before you start. Room temp. Eggs makes for a better structure for your cake and actually will would in volume when making meringue.

Cooking tip
When using coconut or any other kind of nut in you baking. Always toast them. This brings out the flavor tremendously. Rather it's topping a dish or if it's inside the dish. Try it and taste the difference.

After such a success with the Shadow cake last week im going to promote the Awsome 10" 4 layer Coconu Cake.this is one of my original recipes. It has Butter Creme Frosting between all the layers. And then is covered with a cooked egg white frosting. ( 7 minute frosting) the has toasted coconut sprinkled on the top and sides. It is also cooked with coconut oil and coconut milk. It's Grrreeat.

After my oven had a break down from being overworked. I had to slow down a little until it got some much needed maintenance. Not only did it get some needed attention, it also acquired some new friends. We purchased a double wall oven just in time for the holidays. All this talk about Picking peas, shelling peas and kitten up peas made me think.... What a great time fore a pea picken Cake. So, through the month of July. I'm going to sale my pea Picken Cake for 22.00$. This cake has Mandarin oranges and Pineapple and has a cool whip like frosting. ByIt served cold. So have a piece while your shelling those peas. Or just have a piece. Anything as good as a pea picken cake. You don't need no excuse.
