Sugarplum Sisters
Andrea and Kareen have been friends for many many years. Andrea was doing balloons for parties as a solo business owner while working at Hobby Lobby. Kareen was creating t-shirts and vinyl designs at home as she held a job at a local middle school teaching math. One day, they were talking about their businesses and joked around how they should just combine to make one business. Kareen thought it was just a joke, but Andrea kept telling her, “We should do this together!” Both are very creative and each of them possess skills that complement the other. After some discussion, Sugarplum Events and Unique Gifts was born in January 2020! Since then, they have had a ton of fun coming up with unique designs and working together to build their business. This job brings a ton laughter and happiness because they love to bring smiles to other people’s faces. It has become a dream job for both ladies and they are excited for the future!
