That was incredible. The last two days have been special beyond words. Lifelong cherished memories have been made. Beautiful friendships and community has been built and strenghtened. I now see that Sun/Mon nights are the Fri/Sat nights for the noise/DIY crew and this makes me happy.

Eternal gratitude to the performers The Rockers .kiyasu - each of you are incredible and are in touch with something unique and beautiful and powerful // to for hosting // to Lochy from for the loan of the generator and PA // to oldmate from the train tunnel gig for not blowing the whistle // to ALL those marvellous humans who attended, sharing space and attention and experiences with us.

Whispers of our next event in June. We shall see. I love you all, keep being weird.

@godfiresound A band that draws current like no other.

Watching somebody who is completely in the zone, single-pointedly focussed on the task at hand, is a rare and captivating thing. To witness a performance that is unlike anything you have ever seen is a life-long joy and cherished memory. All performers on our Jan 22nd lineup provide both, and more. @dr.kiyasu has come all the way from Japan to share his snare drum solo performance with us, and it is a unique and engaging event that I personally am going to cherish for a lifetime. @lucas_granpa_abela is bringing his suitcase of glass and modular gear (plus pretty lights!) to blow your mind, @joshshiptonland is bringing his love and appreciation of music and creativity to the stage, @deadpartydead are bringing their improvised noise/dance/electronic show (plus SNACKS!!), and @godfiresound are coming all the way up from NAARM/MLB to show us the joy and intensity of unholy noise. For a show that is held at Studio World in Wollongong (an artist-run creative space and rehearsal studio), with the option to choose your own ticket price (between $10 and $30), with such an interesting lineup, it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event that I am honoured and excited to be part of. I truly hope to see you there to experience the joy of pure, unfiltered, creative energy. I fuxking love it!!
