Read this graphic novel last night and emit a lot. I’ve tried to get into the Kamen Rider TV show(s) but just couldn’t. Much like it’s imitation, power rangers, I just couldn’t get into it at all. But in comic form it was a great !

I just wanted to give a big thank you for everyone who came out to the palace theater for Beyond Smoke & Mirrors; not just yesterday, but during the entire season. Yesterday show was the final show and I am very proud of the work that we produced. Will we be back in 2024? That is yet to be seen.

I learned a lot producing this particular run and I think what I learned most is that Gallatin TN really isn’t ready to support family, friendly, matinee entertainment. I created the show specifically to fill a need that I heard and read about. A lot of people talk about how there needs to be more things for families to do together in Gallatin, but, that just did not bear out. We barely broke even.

All that said, I really do appreciate the people who did support us, but if we come back in 2024 it will be as an evening show for adults at a venue that serves alcohol. That seems to be what audiences really want based on the success I do have with the 21 and up haunted tours in Nashville, which are sold out every night.

I’ve waited a few days to share my thoughts on the Ashoka series finale. I absolutely love Ashoka Tano. She is my favorite Star Wars character. At first, I was completely underwhelmed but the resolution of the series. BUT I can’t stop thinking about it and replaying those final scenes in my mind. The ramifications of those final scenes are huge for the future of Star Wars and Dave Filoni has me right where he wants me; wanting more.

Gamera: Rebirth dropped on Netflix yesterday. I watched all 6 episodes.
Wow! What a fantastic story! GREAT series.
However, my one nit is that it was obvious where animation budget was spent.

I can’t stand anime. I just don’t like it and it gives me a headache.
But I have loved the live action versions of Full Metal Alchemist and Cowboy Beebop.
But One Piece?
Fantastic! I am literally blown away by how good it is!

You guys. I picked up this original graphic novel at Pop Con Indy and it is… PHENOMENAL! Hunter Ninja Bear from Fenom Comics is one of the best stories I’ve read in the last 5 years. Of course it is, it’s written by legendary writer Chuck Dixon! I’m only 1/2 way through, but I will do a full review on Back of the Cereal Box: Back Issue Breakfast Club next week! Can’t wait to share more!
