Coffee Club is back in March! 🥳

We’ve got Gemma from joining us for Thursday 13th and Natalie from will be with us on Monday 24th at a NEW venue 👏🏻

As usual, your TMC tickets include:
- 2 hot or cold drinks of your choice ☕️
- A sandwich/panini/pastry/cake of your choice 🍰

I posted on TikTok and it somehow went viral, and amongst the comments were people concerned about the way Isla was sitting.
This is commonly known as ‘W’ sitting.

I’m no expert but I thought I would mention it as not everyone is actually aware of it. I’m not going to list out statistics or research papers, you can do your own research and make your own judgement, but for me, everything in moderation.

In my opinion, some babies typically sit in this position - especially when going from crawling to sitting - but as long as they can get themselves out of it / don’t sit in that position for prolonged periods, it shouldn’t be a cause for concern - especially if you actively encourage other sitting positions.

I think people need to stop putting fear into Mums and instead give them the necessary information to make informed decisions rather than simply stating things without any explanation. I appreciate genuine comments of concern, but if you’re saying something just to get your twopence in… please reconsider 😅

We’ll be joined by a sleep consultant and feeding consultant, as well as a photographer and babysitter!

With the baby classes on summer break and August being the time some families are away on holiday, it seems like things slow down but at the same time there’s a load of family activities and events going on!

We have a little Coffee Club for you mid August to recoup and have some time for yourself (even if your eldest is in tow 😉)

In honour of World Breastfeeding Week, I thought I would share the theme this year which is “Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All” 🤱🏻

Breastfeeding weeks aim to raise awareness of the outcomes of breastfeeding - and other things relating to it - and what I think resonates with me the most is the importance of SUPPORT for mothers to breastfeed for as long as they wish!

In saying that - don’t forget that no matter what form of feeding you do for your child, it doesn’t define you as a mother, and most importantly, FED is best 🥰

We’ve had an influx of new Mamas lately so thought I’d do a reintroduction, and give a life update to those interested ✨

👋🏻 I’m Kaye, mum to Isla who is almost 9 months (🤯). I started TMC and did an intro post back when she was the size of a melon in my belly and have had the pleasure since of sharing this journey with some of you from the start, making great friendships 🥰

🫐 Still a slave to Huckleberry but slowly weaning off it 😂
🫣 Still get imposter syndrome before every event (and in most things I do!)
♻️ I will forever sing high praises for Vinted (hello bargain finds in new condition 🙌🏻)
👩🏻‍💻 I work full-time in the city, and do shoots on the side (catch Isla & I in a Fisher Price ad!)
🪇 Anyone else go baby class mad and fill their weekdays with all the classes they could find? 😅
🌈 I have ADHD and this has led me to different hobbies and pursuits, as well as my tendency to overexplain and waffle on, case in point. Jack of all trades, master of some 💀

So to be transparent - I’ve postponed the upcoming events (sad bc the weather is looking lush!) for my sanity due to a busy weekend coming up that I’ve not really prepared for so the overwhelm is real 🫨

Doing a phased return to work from next month and I think I’ve probably not processed what this means and been in denial about it - it’s coming so quickly 💔. I’m taking the time to get my affairs in order and most importantly making the most of my time with Isla.

As some of you prepare to return to work, are already back at work or have the privilege to be SAH mums, I hope you know there’s always someone in the same boat as you. We’re all in this wild rollercoaster journey they call motherhood, together 🤍

If not already, I hope you find your village. I’ll be having events in August so that you can continue adding to your tribe 🫂
