I had the opportunity to tour a couple venues this past weekend near the Brule River In Wisconsin. Brule River Barn Wedding and Event Center and Minnesuing Acres

The Brule River Barn has the capacity to accommodate the entire weekend wedding festivityfeom rehearsal to ceremony, reception and brunch. Also worth noting is that they have an all inclusive pricing that covers lodging for family or wedding party and the couple.

Minnesuing Acres was also a fantastic location to tour. Also, all inclusive with catering on site and lodging for up to 75 people and all the amenities you could want - pool, hot tub, boats, golf, trap shooting, cross country skiing, hiking and more!

Great opportunity for some couple photos!

The weather today is craaaazy! Isn't it mind blowing that this Saturday through next week its going to be above 50 degrees?? 🤯
That being said, this Saturday April 8th through Wednesday April 12th I'll be doing $100 mini sessions! This is great for couples, families, seniors, headshots etc! Downtown Cambridge will be the location. Shoot me a message to book! ❤

Yes! Many sites now require a coordinator who is not part of the family or wedding party. Every wedding I work, I hear the couple, the family and the wedding party say, “I really enjoyed myself, it was so much fun because I/we didn’t have to worry about anything all day!”

PLANNING TIP!! Have you thought about who is coordinating your wedding day? We HIGHLY recommend having a wedding coordinator to ensure that you and your family enjoy the day with your guests rather than stressing over the little details.

I think there was a great group of vendors yesterday at the White Bear Lake Press Publications wedding show.

Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn hosted it in their ballroom. The chandeliers are lovely and the available spaces are functional for different events. Very versatile event space.

Bonnie has been doing floral design and teaching design for long time, her work was beautiful!

Rudy’s has SO MANY color choices and fabrics for all your linens in addition to all the other rental items that every party needs!

EkoBacken, used to be a tubing hill but now as the owner says, “it’s gone to the brides!” They have a great facility for receptions and lovely spaces for ceremonies too!

Minnesota Picnic offers a fun set up at any location. They provide the place settings and the atmosphere, you provide the food and the date! This is a fun thing when you need a romantic proposal, ask your bestie to be in the wedding or an anniversary celebration. Just a few ideas!

Bread Art has delicious cupcakes and cakes, I met her at River Bend a few weeks ago!

Dot & Daisy offers different rental items and fancy balloon arches that would look lovely at a wedding shower ir reception!

Sienna Cole had some very romantic, lovely wedding gowns that are detailed but simple in style. I liked some of the cotton lace that was on a few of the dresses.

My friend Sophia and her stylists from Revive Salon had some Aveda samples they were giving away and booking hair and makeup appointments.

Julie from Dellwood Barn Weddings was a pleasure to visit with, her booth was next to mine. In addition to the facility they have a ton of rental items that they can supply for your wedding at the lovely barn!

Midwest Sound DJ @ lights was set up and they did a great job with my January wedding this year! It’s great to see familiar faces!

Last but not least, Gary La Rue and his entertainment, including cake walks and give aways. He loves what he does and it shows with his energy !

Yesterday I had the pleasure and privilege to meet Chris Olson, owner of Hangar 97, a classy, spacious versatile venue with plenty of spaces to use.

Included with the rental is the view of the runway, some classic vehicles and several airplanes and a helicopter to share your space and look at or incorporate as part of your wedding day.

Just for fun, you could make a grand entrance or exit in any of the planes or helicopter! Or how about skydiving in for your grand entrance? Chris can make that happen!

A few things I loved about the space:
- versatility of set up
- multiple ceremony locations
- green room for the live band
- well appointed dressing rooms for both wedding parties
- the vibe of being at the airport
