Getting to know the team at Northwest Fight Promotions Part 4

This is Alexis (Ally) who helps run our social media, writes checks for everyone and does whatever else she can do to help the team. She has been apart of our company since 2023. She has 2 dogs, the newest is in the photo, and 1 cat. On March 31st of this year she had her first baby. She enjoys reading, watching movies and hanging out with her baby girl.

This is Randy Aliment, he is lawyer by training but does whatever is needed to help support our team at Clinch Fight Club. He is from Renton WA, enjoys golfing in his free time and is a Chairman of the Board of Directors of USA Bobsled/Skeleton. He met George (the owner) through a mutual friend and has been with our company since day 1! His favorite part of his job is working with our team to present an incredible show for our fans!

This is Julie (Jules) Guerin-Toler who is our matchmaker and has been with our company since the start. She is from Grandview Wa and enjoys working out, NCAA wrestling and Senior Level USA wrestling. She also loves the great outdoors and spending quality time with friends and family.

Julie loves watching the fights she matches come alive, and seeing the fighters shine in the cage. She enjoys working with the fighters and contributing to their careers.

Her first exposure to MMA was in 1997. She worked with the state of Washington to set rules and laws in place for our sport.

One fact that most people don’t know is that Julie fought in a boxing match in 2002. She wanted to feel what is what like to fight since she was already in the sport at many levels. She never wanted anyone to tell her that she didn’t know what it was like to fight. “Being a woman in this sport as a promoter and a matchmaker, I too had to fight for the respect and honor.”

It took Sarek Shields less than a minute to earn some championship hardware on Saturday.

Shields certainly lived up to his ring moniker of “The Berserker” when he made short work of opponent Fay Bursell in the main event of Clinch FC’s show at Legends Casino Resort in Toppen*sh, Wash. as he ended the contest in a lightning-quick 50 seconds to win the organization’s vacant welterweight title.

Shields improved his record to 6-2 after he put away Bursell with a D'arce choke. The loss dropped Bursell, who had won three straight fights and seven out of his last eight, to 7-3.

In the semi-main event, Micah Haas (5-0) remained undefeated with a unanimous win over Jose Hernandez in a battle of flyweights. Haas appeared as the 29-28 winner on all three scorecards.

Lightweight Dzhamal Mavliudov also kept his record spotless after defeating Diego Perez by third-round (1:35) submission via guillotine.

Additional professional bouts included bantamweight Alvin Welch beating Hector Lopez by split decision and featherweight Diamond Templeton defeating Brandon Aviles by unanimous decision.

In the amateur portion of the card, Jordan Alcala defeated Cole Langmean by split decision and Kimberly Rosales put away Mireya Sanchez by third-round submission (guillotine). Joey Semerad opened the card with a second-round win via arm triangle over Matt Howard.
