Born to a musical family his journey started at a very young age. First helping his father run a karaoke and entertainment side business, singing, dancing and Disc Jockeying on a small mixer with two CD players. This passion continued all the way through his childhood, from joining the elementary school martial band as a trumpeter to taking up drums aged 11 and performing ritually every Sunday at his Catholic Church throughout his teens, evolving into forming a successful Rock band with his cousin during university. His first real introduction to the realms of electronic music were in the clubs of São Paulo, where he became infatuated with the dance floor. Milton’s pure energetic heart pumps to the bass, surging rhythm through his veins. Harnessing that energy and injecting it into his sets he delivers deep, progressive sonic expeditions, infusing sexy melodies with rumbling basslines, always with a touch of psychedelia. Best known for his driving Techno sets Milton applies the same passion and principle no matter the slot, be it groovy Downtempo or hecky Psytech. Drawing inspiration from Brazilian brothers such as Victor Ruiz, Alex Stein and Gabriel Moraes, Milton believes the biggest influences to his music are the people and world around him. Upon arriving in Australia Milton made his way directly to the cultural hub of Byron Bay, where he made the streets his stage and the public his punters when busking. Heavily immersed in the busy hospitality, nightlife and events industry of Byron, inspired by the music, he began to develop his style and skills in his rainforest sanctuary. Upon identifying his own unique sound Milton has been full power, playing house, boat, beach parties, raves, private events and even hosted several of his own club nights, leading to his first official booking in late 2019. Since then Milton has been growing as an artist and perpetually building momentum with regular bookings for Cortex and Blue Mushroom events, whilst holding down a monthly residency at the renown Gold Coast nightclub elsewhere. In this time he has had the opportunity to support artists including Kaiser Souzai, Clockwork Orange, Sumiruna, Kuni, Zen Mechanics and Earthogen. Most recently reaching the exciting milestone of landing his first major festival set for Elements Festival 2021, there is no stopping Milton! With a life surrounded by music, this multi-instrumentalist is turning his skills and passion into original productions for others to share special experiences and connect to. This has seen Milton recently teaming up with Caco Law to create their new side project Mountlaw, and they already have several released tracks under their belt. With his eyes firmly fixed on the Australian Festival scene, supported by a solid fan base and under the management of Round Town Promotions, Milton is set to spread the love both in the studio and on the stage. To this vibrant talent, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… creating connections, sharing emotions and elevating those who are dancing.
