I was really struggling to find vegan events and new vegan businesses to check out and was constantly scrolling through hundreds of non-vegan events to try and find something suitable or constantly searching for businesses only to find out they weren’t vegan. It was taking up a lot of my time so there I was thinking to myself, wouldn’t it be great if there was a space specifically for finding all things vegan close to home? I searched for one but couldn’t find one. So here one is. For all to enjoy 🥰

Viva! charity, We The Free and Vegan Magda present Demo & Dine.

Enjoy a unique dining experience comprising of a in depth demonstration where you can learn how to make the food you’re about to eat, followed by a delicious 3-course plant-based meal, prepared by Vegan Magda.

Watch live as she walks you through the menu and shows you how to make each course, showing you just how easy and affordable it is to live a vegan lifestyle and enjoy plant-based food even when you’re super busy and on a budget. This event is open to all, there is no requirement to be vegan or vegetarian.

We invite everyone to share a special event with us and enjoy a tasty meal and learn a few cooking tips along the way. There will also be some great stalls for you to check out before and after the demonstration and meal.

Where:

The event is held at The Life Centre in Winton (713 Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH9 2AU) between 1pm-4pm on Saturday 3rd June.

Itinerary:

12pm - Arrival of guests, there is a bar that you can order drinks from at arrival

12:45 - Talk by Juliet Gellatley from Viva!

1:15pm - Be ready and seated in time for the 30 minute food demonstration by Vegan Magda

1:45 pm-3pm - Food is served

3-4pm - Check out the stalls, socialise, grab a drink from the bar, head home with a full belly

The Menu:

Starter:
Parsley & sunflower seeds pesto
Caponata (celery) roasted garlic & bean dip
Sourdough (GF bread available)
Main:
World’s best bolognese (celery, soy, GF pasta available)
Cashew parmesan
Dessert:
Indulgent dark chocolate mousse (soy)

Hosting our stalls are:

Viva! - They will be able to answer any questions you may have about their charity, you can pick up informational leaflets and find out more about a vegan lifestyle.

We The Free - They will be selling merchandise, answering questions and will be able to tell you about what activism is and why people do it and the impact that it has.

Vegan Magda - She will be selling her delicious produce for you to take home.
