Cheers to the new year!! 🥂🍾 While 2024 certainly wasn’t easy for me, I got to plan some of the dreamiest (and honestly, personal bucket list) wedding themes with the COOLEST couples. For 2026, I’m manifesting more of these unique themes, crazy cool couples, and exciting ideas! ✨ And actually, we have our first planning wedding in only a couple weeks - think Avatar’s Pandora! 👽🌴
All that aside, my family & I landed back in GA just past midnight on NYE so I am taking today to set our house to right, adjust to the time change, and start catching up on emails. I appreciate everyone for their patience in my response times these past few weeks. Aside from a few very important emails and calls, I was able to log off 90% of the time and be present for my family. This was our only vacation as a family this year so it was important I enjoy it to the fullest!!

I know I said I was going to post this on Christmas but you know what? It’s Winter Solstice ❄️🌲☃️ and I simply cannot wait to share! It was truly an honor planning R&P’s winter wedding weekend. I’m obsessed with all the little details - which are too numerous to name. I’m ecstatic they jumped on board with my crazy idea of an ornament es**rt card display. And, I’m so pleased they trusted me 💯 percent with each vendor I handpicked for them. The team we assembled was simply the best and it shows! So enjoy these sneak peeks and know more is to come!

Currently reflecting back on a wonderful year of weddings! 💕 We worked with some of the coolest couples, the raddest themes, and the most artistic of vendors. We strengthened our current vendor relationships and made new ones! We also planned our first wedding weekend extravaganza and even helped coordinate a friends wedding out of state. There will be some changes happening to Moonbeam next year but I cannot wait to share what more we have in store. 🙌🏼❤️🎉 So, for now, enjoy these sneak peeks from our jewel tone, witchy festival themed wedding we helped plan this past November. 🔮🖤🪬

After last week’s emotional roller coaster, I was lucky enough to celebrate not one but TWO gorgeous couples this past weekend. We were able to focus on LOVE ❤️ and celebrate life, in the face of adversity. I’m so, so lucky to be able to work with the most incredible and unique couples. They come to me with the coolest life stories and the raddest wedding themes (like this one which was inspired by Lorien from LOTR - spot Gandalf!!). However small it may be, this is my place where I can make change happen and support my friends & clients. 🫶🏼 Now, let’s go make your wedding feel like magic. ✨🌜

With this storm coming in, the vibe is feeling very witchy. So, I’m resharing some images from J&K’s wedding. The bride was inspired by still life painting and these photos with that lighting definitely feel reminiscent of painters like Caravaggio. 😍 A perfect vibe for this stormy day. And, for everyone living in the area - stay dry, stay safe!

I’m going to get real here for a second…Sometimes as a planner/coordinator, you have to make a call. And sometimes, that call is wrong. 💔

N&C had planned for a gorgeous beachside ceremony this past Friday. However, the weather had other plans. ⛈️⛈️⛈️ Radar showed that a thunderstorm was going to hit right as we scheduled the ceremony to start. Rather than reset for a less than favorable ceremony inside the reception venue, I made the call to start the ceremony 20 minutes early in the hopes we could beat it or at minimum, that the rain would start just as the ceremony ends. (Making for some steaming 1st kiss in the rain photos 😉) However, the storm’s wind pushed it to us sooner than radar had predicted which resulted in a complete DOWNPOUR. The guests handled being drenched very well as did the vendor crew whose equipment risked being damaged. We ended up having to reset and restart the ceremony inside minus all the beautiful ceremony decor and large ferns (because they were HEAVY and currently still being rained on).

It was heartbreaking to say the least. I felt that I made a really bad call and that I put a literal damper on the start of N&C’s day. I also felt horrible that I risked expensive vendor equipment (camera & sound equipment are $$$!). It was a tough lesson learned and I’m incredibly thankful for a vendor crew who took the risk with me. I’m also thankful for a couple who rolled with the punches and were very cool about a reset. They were still able to get their photos on the beach, have a funny story to tell, and party for the rest of the evening with their friends and family.

Coordination can be a very tough job. You are constantly making decisions for the couple & vendor team on the fly, basing it off past conversations and the couple’s preferences. Sometimes they end up being wrong and when they do, I guess all we can do is look on the bright side. All storms will eventually pass. 💖
