It's National Bourbon Day!
6/14/16 please drink responsibly.
1 ounce bourbon (or straight whiskey), teaspoon of simple syrup, muddle 3 berries of choice, 4 chunks of pineapple, 2 ounces of pineapple juice, shake the ingredients for 8 seconds with ice, pour into tall glass, top it off with Ginger Beer.

Cocktail Truth!
There are approximately 64 calories in just 1 ounce of liquor.
That's not bad at all. It's when you get into the Long Island Iced Tea type drinks, that a dieter would really want to start counting the calories up.
