Community Dishware Sharing
The current state of our environment has many of us thinking our planet is doomed, but small changes made by many add up to a movement. We have the power to change the course of our path and lighten our footprint on this earth. In an effort to cut back on the waste we put out, we invite you to join our movement and use our free service available to any local Columbus-area resident!
After hosting a party or event, have you ever taken out bags and bags of trash? Consider swapping out single-use cutlery and dishes for reusable, sustainable, and quite frankly a fun mixed collection of plates and silverware! We find the mixed media lends to a more intimate and casual atmosphere where the conversation flows more freely and old and new friendships thrive. At the end of the night your trash load will be lightened, as well as your conscience!
How Does It Work
Message us on Facebook with the date of your event, the number of each item you need and which collection you would like to borrow from and we will block a 48 hour window for you to be able to pick up your dish settings, use, clean, and return. All Pass the Plate pick-ups and drop-offs are planned to take place at the Dublin safe exchange zone. If you require any special accommodations, please do not hesitate to message us at the time of your inquiry.
