My sweet Papa Bear passed away too soon - on April 24th, 2024 - a few days after his 70th birthday. He was everything to me and my family…and all his people in the PNW. Words can’t explain how profoundly devastating this loss is to us.

“Boats” was an exceptionally empathetic, fun loving, and extremely hardworking soul. He was a sailer, a traveler, and a chef. His devotion to being a father was undeniably, and he deeply loved my mom, Betsy. There is no world where Leonard doesn’t belong in it.

If you are interested in attending his service, we will celebrate him on August 3rd at 1pm at the First Baptist Church in Port Townsend. This church has been very special to him since he was young.

Please just hug, kiss, and share love with your people - life is too short. ❤️

Papa Bear, we’ll miss you every single day. Your light will always shine so bright, almost as bright as your smile.✨

Mission complete! Traveling from Seattle to Sun Valley with my 92 year old grams was one of the most incredible experiences. She is an inspiration with her consistently positive attitude, vivacious spirit, and sharp mind. I hope to be half the woman she is. Way to go Grams!
