My cut flower tulips are coming to an end. Not all of them made it to the vase but will bloom again next year. Lots of lovely colours to enjoy for a few more days.

Halfway there! I'm officially halfway through my garden design course. The past few months have been a whirlwind of learning and inspiration. From understanding the basics of garden layout and plant selection, to delving into the finer details of hardscaping and garden maintenance. I can’t wait to share everything I have learnt with you!
I have closed my website temporarily and will be relaunching it to include my design services soon.

First wreath of the season ✨
This morning I woke at 5 and made the journey down to Wi******er to collect all my fresh ingredients for my workshops and orders.
Not the best driving conditions in the fog and dark but so worth it and I even managed to make it back in time for the school run!
I like to ensure that I have a rich mix of ingredients for my wreaths - a balanced variety of textures, shapes and colours and today I have loved seeing all of these choices come together.
Now for some prep for the workshops…

Dahlias still going strong until the frost
It’s a busy time in the garden. I have now started clearing some of the cut flower beds, collecting seeds and sowing these in the greenhouse.
I am striving towards a more sustainable garden and this autumn I have sown only the seeds collected from the garden.
Having trialled lots of varieties last year I am being really selective about what I am going to plant for next season.

📚I am training to become a garden designer
👩🏼🌾 Combing my passion for gardens, knowledge of planting and background in design this feels like a natural progression for me. I look forward to sharing my journey, practical tips and ideas with you as I progress through the course.
💫I will in time be offering my services to suit all budgets from border planting schemes to full design and project management, partnering with a landscape company and plant nursery to complete your dream garden.
🌸 I love growing cut flowers and am going to continue doing this for myself, friends and family and a few clients. I am also going to be growing more vegetables and fruit, making my garden more productive and will create content to help you do the same - with a focus on high return, low maintenance plants!
