Halfway there! I'm officially halfway through my garden design course. The past few months have been a whirlwind of learning and inspiration. From understanding the basics of garden layout and plant selection, to delving into the finer details of hardscaping and garden maintenance. I can’t wait to share everything I have learnt with you!

I have closed my website temporarily and will be relaunching it to include my design services soon.

Terracotta pots planted with Narcissi, topped with moss and decorated with hazel twigs.

Bridal Crown are a multi-stem, double flowering, scented narcissi that will flower in early Spring. They come with care instructions to ensure you get the best out of them.

First wreath of the season ✨

This morning I woke at 5 and made the journey down to Wi******er to collect all my fresh ingredients for my workshops and orders.

Not the best driving conditions in the fog and dark but so worth it and I even managed to make it back in time for the school run!

I like to ensure that I have a rich mix of ingredients for my wreaths - a balanced variety of textures, shapes and colours and today I have loved seeing all of these choices come together.

It’s a busy time in the garden. I have now started clearing some of the cut flower beds, collecting seeds and sowing these in the greenhouse.

I am striving towards a more sustainable garden and this autumn I have sown only the seeds collected from the garden.

Having trialled lots of varieties last year I am being really selective about what I am going to plant for next season.

📚I am training to become a garden designer

👩🏼‍🌾 Combing my passion for gardens, knowledge of planting and background in design this feels like a natural progression for me. I look forward to sharing my journey, practical tips and ideas with you as I progress through the course.

💫I will in time be offering my services to suit all budgets from border planting schemes to full design and project management, partnering with a landscape company and plant nursery to complete your dream garden.

🌸 I love growing cut flowers and am going to continue doing this for myself, friends and family and a few clients. I am also going to be growing more vegetables and fruit, making my garden more productive and will create content to help you do the same - with a focus on high return, low maintenance plants!
