As we have kicked off the sessions last weekend @ the Ghetto Zone7, Vaal, Sebokeng , we would like to express our gratitude and thanks to everyone that made the day a success. The decision was taken based on the weather forecast which had indicated that there was a high probability of rain 🌧 but we thank Jah that it did not rain.

Let us take this as a developmental strategy to expand, recruit and create new business opportunities in the Vaal and Reggae industry at large.

Hoping to see everyone on our next show in 2022 🙏🏼in greater numbers .

Due to yesterday's rains that have affected our venue, we will now be hosting the show at a different location, not far from Exodus Park just 5 minute walk, with safe parking, with an in house bar, sound backed by Johnny B sound system the venue is called (Ghetto) next to the Empilweni clinic in Zone 7

Reggae is a music genre that is popular for its stance on human rights, equality and what we could easily call nation building philosophies. However, the attention the genre receives is not parallel to its efforts.

The continuous snubbing by popular broadcasting platforms, festivals, arts institutions and government bodies responsible for the upliftment of the arts is disheartening and somewhat a direct insult to the pioneer including the legendary Lucky Dube.

The ghost slots our music is given across the board is negatively impacting our ability to improve our livelihood and spread the message as effectively as we could with the necessary support.

This is a petition to those with the necessary influence to hear us out and meet us halfway in providing us the platforms we need. We need prime time slots, we need to booked for festivals, we need sponsored initiatives, we need venues that promote us, we need to be scored on television...we have the work, we need to be given the attention the popular genres are enjoying.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦Can you add your signature? ✍️
