oal is to create spaces for life considered and well-lived. She is visionary and innovative, priding herself on her knowledge of global, historical, and forthcoming aesthetics. Whitney Marston Pierce is the daughter of a painter and designer, a graduate of OCSA's Visual Arts program and UCLA’s Art History baccalaureate program, with 20 years in branding and creative problem solving. Her professionalism and analytical approach ensure a job well done, on time, and on budget.

DJ Whitney Fierce

Refinery29 says, “[this girl’s] about to break, big time.” Perhaps this is one of those moments when you should believe the hype. After cutting her teeth as a DJ in NYC, Whitney Fierce joined Hercules and Love Affair as a vocalist and touring member. Shortly thereafter she sang their DJ Kicks single “Release Me.” Upon returning to LA Whitney reunited with her first love, DJing, and has produced her first solo EP which is being released on Rock It Science Laboratories. Fierce also laid down guest vocals on Subb-an’s new EP Vapour Trails on Crosstown Rebels, co-produced and did vocals on the lead single for Eric Sharp’s last RIS Labs EP “Wait Just Wait,” and has a string of collaborations in the works for the near future. If you haven’t heard of Whitney Fierce yet, the coming months may prove her impossible to ignore. She has played for Dior in Paris, Nylon in New York, the Mayor in LA, and is New Order’s tour DJ. Fierce is also quickly racking up club and festival plays as the word spreads about her sophisticated style. On the decks, Fierce blends her background of classical musicianship with a powerful flair for the eccentric, bearing sexy bangers pumped-full with catharsis and a stylish humor that basks in the dance-floor madness. She is very proud to play non-sh*tty tunes, and is still stoked about not being universally hated. Also, important people say she’s cool (aaand that’s the point at which you should probably start questioning the hype.)

Panzano in Chianti, my love for you knows no bounds. From your rolling hills of vineyards and olive groves, to the hilltop town with food that is perhaps some of the best in the world. Highlight: hanging out with alum and butcher/chef extraordinaire and diving into his many course beef tasting menu. Also a massive shout to starred resto for the mounds of truffles and the incredible experience. Spoiler alert, this is actual fancy.

IT'S OYSTER SEASON! Fancy tip: they say only eat oysters in months that have an R, but that was due to summer spoilage. But I still like the idea of celebrating them as the summer wanes.

I've spent the summer outside of the city and now as my summer of joy and less social media draws to a close, I thought I'd fill y'all in on a couple of my adventures. I've been writing, the first draft of the book is done! Much of which has taken place at the country house, but a portion was also in Italy. I spent a lovely chunk of my summer basking in the perfection that is Tuscany, and it was so truly inspiring. I am also now pressuring Robert into buying a villa there in the not so distant future.

I will say that keeping my distance from social media and spending time in the moment, and really just soaking it all in made all the difference in the world. I will never live by likes, but not being distracted with crafting perfect posts and seeing who cared, really made the trip that much better. That being said, there was a lot of beautiful stuff I wanna share with y'all.
