We are preparing to begin the food truck season and anticipate requiring additional support due to a recent surgery. We are seeking an experienced food service professional, although training will be provided.
This extremely part-time position will primarily involve Friday nights at the Los Alamos concert series, with potential for additional days offered but not mandatory when other events occur. Typically, we require availability from 5 or 6 pm to approximately 9 or 10 pm on Friday nights at the Los Alamos concert series, with flexibility to accommodate a later arrival, provided support is available during the busiest portion of the night. If you do not possess a current food handler's card, you will be required to complete and pass food handler training, with reimbursement for the examination fee provided on your first day of work. The hourly rate, inclusive of a portion of tips, will range from $15 to $20, dependent on experience. Transportation arrangements to Los Alamos and other events can be facilitated if necessary.

Hey everybody! It’s been a minute since I posted. We are getting ready to ramp up for a new season with the Beast Food Truck.

We were hoping to bring with compassion through action. But the truck is just not ready and so I am on my way over to pick up a bunch of fruit and I am going to help hand out food today at 11 AM.

If you have extra clothes, shoes, clean socks, and blankets why don’t you bring them by and drop them off? We will be at the shelter next to Goodwill at 11 AM.

Today is the Day to come out to Northern New Mexico's premiere 4th of July event!!! The 4th of July Spectacular, hosted in White Rock, presented by Merrick and SMSI!

4th of July Spectacular Event Schedule:
🎆 4:00pm – The Los Alamos Community Winds

❗❗An important item to note for this year’s 4th of July Spectacular Event is that due to field renovations being conducted in Overlook Park, and the heavy equipment required for the project, parking within the Park will be limited to only Handicapped, Vendors, and Staff. All other event attendees will be required to walk or ride the Atomic City Transit bus into Overlook Park.

As always the Atomic City Transit will be running in support of this event from 3pm – 10pm. Pick-up locations are Pinon Elementary & the White Rock Visitor Center, in White Rock, and the Lemon Lot, in Los Alamos. Additionally, the Sullivan Field parking lot will be available for event attendees to park in order to take the shuttle.

We are just so grateful to all the support we got last night at the Los Alamos concert Series!!

The chicken sandwich was a huge success and we completely sold out !! Everybody absolutely loved all three versions which were the original, garlic Parm and the Nashville hot chicken We will definitely be bringing it back next week😋.

Excited to debut our new sandwich’s tonight in Los Alamos! We will be debuting our chicken breast sandwich, or garlic Parm chicken breast sandwich, and one of my personal favorites is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich!
Of course the Nashville hot comes to with our homemade coleslaw!

We will also have plenty of fresh eggs for sale at the food truck

We’re expecting a great concert today at the Los Alamos concert series! It looks like the weather is going to be great and you know what else is great the band that we’re gonna have tonight!

The Chris Arellano’s band

Music starts at 6 PM with the opening band and ends at 9 PM

Iron Chiwawa has been rocking out for decades to audiences all over New Mexico, and now they are coming to Ashley Pond Park this Friday, June 21st, from 6pm to 9pm for the best free summer concert series in the state! The fun starts at 6pm with local band Syzygy.

The Los Alamos Summer Concert Series wants to thank the nights sponsors the Los Alamos Medical Center and Classic Air Medical!

Iron Chiwawa is a rock and roll cover band that has been together for 20 years, four excellent musicians with each one taking turns at lead vocals! They can’t wait to play on the Ashley Pond stage again, as they opened for the Long Run Eagles Tribute band for last year's LA Summer Concert Series!

Bring out your dancing shoes because they’ll definitely get the pond rockin and rollin’!

Excited to have a new menu item for this Friday....

Our new Chicken Breast Sandwich and Our Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. These will be in limited quantities.

Both Sandwiches will be made from a Chicken breast and fried to perfection in our seasoned batter

The Nashville Hot will come with Coleslaw. This was inspired by our recent trip to Nashville and Memphis. I can't tell you how much I crave this sandwich!!
