"We greeted you 34 years ago...... and now we come and say goodbye". The farewell performance of Slayer on Graspop Metal Meeting 2019. A emotional farewell concert most of us will never forget. Slayer's Tom Araya had a very hard time on stage. In between the songs he really didn't know how to act, not to show the emotions. But the expression on his face still tells everything.

Merel Bechtold announced on June 16, 2019 that she was amicably leaving the band to pursue other musical interests. Her last show with Delain took place at Graspop Metal Meeting on June 23, 2019.[23]

Delain is currently working on their sixth studio album.
