Yesterday was a new experience for me.
My private driver/certified guide picked us up at our hotel and drove to Tulum where we toured the ruins and shopping. Followed by a drive to the beach front boutique resorts in Tulum and a stop for shopping.
We drove to an area in the jungle with some food options and photo opportunities and then down the stairs to the under ground cenote. Notes the growths on the ceiling in the cave? Guided swimable tours through the chambers of this is available.
Then…… off to Akulmal to swim with the turtles in the national park with a guided snorkel tour.
We saw turtles, stingray, jelly fish, octopus, lobster, a flat bottom fish, and squid.
All amazing ! right on the second largest reef barrier in the world!

Will post a video soon of our underwater adventure in Akumal.

Arrived in Cancun and made our way to the beautiful Paradisus Cancun adult only section. Another agent referred me to. New to me driver which we loved! Took a bit to get checkered into our room and missed getting a reservation for dinner but the Buffett was a great choice. Can’t wait to check out this property in the day lights soon. Enjoy

Today it was an honor to attend the school of local children with the sandals and beaches foundation giving back to jamaica through the Sandals Reading Roadtrip. These two children were both as cute as could be, loved getting attention and both wanted to show off new teeth coming in! ❤️ What a pleasure it is to be able to participate in bring joy to little one’s faces!
